Mumbai, October 9, 2025: The initial public offering of Canara Robeco Asset Management Company Limited IPO will open for subscription today, October 9. Investors who are interested in applying to the issue can utilise their net banking portal to apply using the ASBA facility. They can also apply through a UPI mandate using their stock broking app.

Canara Robeco Asset Management Company Limited is an Indian company that manages investment schemes for individuals and financial institutions. Canara Robeco Asset Management Company Limited is a joint venture between Canara Bank (51%) and ORIX Corporation Europe N.V. (49%). The company was established in 1993 and is headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

Canara Robeco AMC IPO Raised ₹397.84 Crore From Anchor Investors

Ahead of the IPO, on October 8, the company raised ₹397.84 crore from 25 anchor investors by allocating 1.49 crore equity shares at a price of ₹266 per share (including a premium of ₹256 per share). Prominent investors included SBI Mutual Fund, ICICI Prudential, Kotak Mahindra, Nippon India, Aditya Birla Sun Life, Axis Mutual Fund, DSP, and Mirae Asset.

Among the investors, schemes such as Nippon India Small Cap Fund, Aditya Birla Sun Life Banking & Financial Services Fund, and Axis Small Cap Fund each invested over ₹300 crore. Furthermore, domestic mutual funds invested in the majority, accounting for 76.73% of the total anchor allotment.

Canara Robeco AMC IPO Issue Size of ₹1,326.13 Crore

The issue size for the IPO is ₹1,326.13 crore, which is entirely an offer for sale of 4.99 crore shares by its promoters, with no fresh issue element. The company has set a price band of ₹253 to ₹266 per share. The lot size is 56 shares, amounting to a minimum investment of ₹14,896 (56 shares) by a retail investor at the upper price band. The lot size investment for sNII is 14 lots (784 shares), amounting to ₹2,08,544, and for bNII, it is 68 lots (3,808 shares), amounting to ₹10,12,928.

SBI Capital Markets Ltd. is the book-running lead manager, while MUFG Intime India Pvt.Ltd is the registrar of the issue. The IPO opens today, and the shares will list on NSE and BSE tentatively on October 16, 2025. The share allotment is expected to be finalised on October 14, while the credit of shares and refund initiation are expected on October 15.
