Mumbai, March 25: Sula Vineyards Limited has moved to strengthen its core Nashik presence, signing an agreement to acquire select assets of Domaine Chandon India for ₹20 crore.

The deal is being executed through its wholly owned subsidiary, Artisan Spirits Private Limited, which has entered into an Asset Purchase Agreement with Moët Hennessy India Private Limited, according to a regulatory filing dated March 25, 2026.

Stock Market Snapshot

Sula Vineyards share price edged higher but without any sharp spike. As of 15:30 IST on March 25, 2026, the stock was trading at ₹152.64, up ₹2.32 or 1.54%, according to exchange data.

The stock touched ₹156.33 during the session before settling lower.

This wasn’t a breakout move. It was a nod. A quiet acknowledgement from the market that the deal makes sense, but does not immediately change earnings.

Why This Location Matters

₹20 crore is not a large deal in isolation. But location changes the equation.

Dindori is already Sula territory. Existing vineyards. Winery infrastructure. Established tourist routes.

Adding adjacent assets creates operational continuity. Wine tourism is not just a side business for Sula anymore. It is one of its fastest-growing verticals.

Clean Structure, Clear Intent

The structure of the transaction is deliberate. Funded through a mix of internal accruals and debt, there is no stress on balance sheet and no dilution.

Small Step, Strategic Direction

Sula is not chasing aggressive, scattered growth. It is deepening its strongest geography. Strengthening what already works.

The real outcome will depend on execution. How quickly these assets are integrated. How effectively they are monetised.
