Mumbai, October 9, 2025: The allotment status for Tata Capital Limited’s IPO ₹15,512 crore IPO is expected to be finalised today, on October 9. Investors who applied to the IPO issue can check their allotment status by visiting the NSE, or BSE platform or through the website of the registrar, which is MUFG Intime India. Investors will receive the credit of shares into their demat accounts on October 10. On the same date, the company will initiate refunds for investors who did not receive the share allotment. The shares of the company are expected to list on NSE and BSE on October 13, 2025.
Tata Capital Limited is an Indian non-banking financial company (NBFC) under the Tata Group. For FY25, the company reported a profit after tax (PAT) of ₹3,664.66 crore and total income of ₹28,369.87 crore. The return on equity (ROE) was 12.6% and gross NPA ratio was 1.9%. The company was established in 1991, and is headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

Step 3: Choose “Tata Capital Limited” from the dropdown menu
Step 4: Enter your PAN and Application Number. Click “Submit.”

Tata Capital IPO Overall Subscription At 1.96 Times
The Tata Capital IPO received a strong investor response, with an overall subscription of 1.96×. Anchor investors were allotted 14,23,87,284 shares worth ₹4,641.83 crore. The Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIB) category, excluding anchors, saw the highest demand with 9,49,24,856 shares offered and 32,44,77,652 shares bid for a subscription of 3.42×, raising ₹10,577.97 crore.
Non-Institutional Buyers subscribed 1.98×, with bids for 14,10,62,634 shares worth ₹4,598.64 crore. Within this group, bids above ₹10 lakh (bNII) were subscribed 1.90×, while bids below ₹10 lakh (sNII) were subscribed 2.14×. Retail investors subscribed 1.10×, with 18,29,12,376 bids for 16,61,18,498 shares, contributing ₹5,962.94 crore. The employee quota saw a 2.92× subscription, with 35,07,178 bids for 12,00,000 shares, worth ₹114.33 crore. Altogether, the IPO received bids for 65,19,59,840 shares against 33,34,36,996 offered, raising ₹21,253.89 crore.
Tata Capital IPO Raised ₹4,641.82 Crore From Anchor Investors
Ahead of the IPO, the company raised ₹4,641.82 crore from anchor investors by allocating 14.24 crore shares at ₹326 per share. Key investors included LIC, HDFC Mutual Fund, ICICI Prudential MF, Aditya Birla Sun Life MF, Nippon India MF, and Motilal Oswal MF, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, Nomura India Investment Fund, and Government Pension Fund Global (Norway).
The allotment status will be finalised today, and investors can check whether they have received the allotment. The listing of the shares is expected on October 13.
