Howrah, November 6, 2025: Iris Clothings Limited, a leading manufacturer and retailer of children’s wear under the Doreme brand, reported a stable performance for the quarter and half-year ended September 30, 2025. Despite margin pressure from rising input costs, the company achieved steady revenue growth and maintained profitability.

Iris Clothings Limited, incorporated in 2004 and based in Howrah, West Bengal, is a publicly traded company engaged in the design, manufacturing, branding, and distribution of children’s wear. The company operates seven in-house production units and two warehousing facilities to ensure both quality and quantity standards are met.

Continuous Improvement in Operating Income and Profitability

Iris Clothings reported total income of ₹443 million for Q2FY26, up 7% year-on-year from ₹414 million in the same quarter last year. Revenue for the first half of FY26 reached ₹818 million, a 12% increase over ₹729 million in H1FY25, driven primarily by strong demand for the company’s core kidswear products under the Doreme brand.

The firm’s operating profit for Q2FY26 stood at ₹70 million, down 13% from ₹81 million in Q2FY25, mainly due to higher input costs. EBITDA margin was 15.9%, compared with 19.5% a year earlier. Net profit (PAT) rose 7% YoY to ₹41 million, maintaining a margin of 9.3%. On a half-year basis, PAT for H1FY26 reached ₹67 million, up 8% from ₹63 million in H1FY25.

Management Commentary

Santosh Ladha, Managing Director of Iris Clothings Limited said, – “It is our honor and pleasure to offer yet another quarter with steady revenue growth and high-profitability level which is a strong evidence of our powerful brand portfolio and operational discipline. The recent initiatives taken by the government to energize consumption, e.g., GST rate rationalization, are likely to increase demand for apparel, particularly in the value and kidswear segments where Iris Clothings is consistently strengthening its position.”

Besides, he said that launching the Kids Travel Wear Collection under the Doreme brand in August 2025 has significantly strengthened their position within the wear segment. The group is committed to expanding its retail presence – enhancing the product line, and thereby supporting longer-term growth.

Stock Performance
