New Delhi, November 4, 2025: JK Paper Limited (NSE: JKPAPER; BSE: 532162) announced its financial results for the second quarter of FY26 on November 3, 2025. While the company reported a marginal increase in revenue from operations, its profit after tax (PAT) saw a sharp year-on-year decline. The drop was primarily attributed to higher input costs, weaker realisations, and increased competition from imports. Following the announcement, JK Paper’s share price fell during Tuesday’s trading session.

Key Financial Highlights

The company reported a 3.9% year-on-year (YoY) increase in revenue from operations, rising from ₹1,682.9 crore in Q2 FY25 to ₹1,748.5 crore in the current quarter. However, both EBITDA and net profit (PAT) declined sharply. EBITDA for the quarter stood at ₹243.7 crore, down 24.3% YoY from ₹322.1 crore in the same period last year. Net profit (PAT) dropped even further to ₹74.8 crore, marking a 41.8% decline from ₹128.5 crore in Q2 FY25.

The share price of JK Paper Limited was trading at ₹385.50, down 3.26% or ₹13.00 from its previous close of ₹398.50. The stock has traded within an intraday range of ₹380.60 to ₹390.00 so far, reflecting a weak trading session for the company. JK Paper’s total market capitalisation stood at ₹6,540.62 crore, with a traded value of ₹32.57 crore and a total volume of 8.48 lakh shares.

Performance and activities

The company’s CRISIL rating has been reaffirmed at ‘AA/Stable’ and ‘A1+’. It also continues to contribute to society. Under its social farm forestry initiatives, it planted over 5.39 crore saplings. This was done over 37,260 acres of land across Gujarat, Odisha, and Telangana. Further, the company’s CSR activities now extend to 860+ villages across 9 states. It benefits over 11.77 lakh individuals. The CSR programs are for livelihood promotion, education, and environmental sustainability.
