Mumbai, Oct 7, 2025: Trent Limited’s share price is witnessing negative investor demand today, despite Trent reporting a 17% year-on-year (YoY) rise in standalone revenue from product sales. As of 2:40 PM, the shares were down by 1.93%, or 92.30 points, and were trading at ₹4,685. Until now, the shares have traded within a range of ₹4,721.90 and ₹4,590. The traded volume stood at 25.11 lakh shares, with the company’s market cap at ₹1,71,192 crore. The shares have their 52-week high at ₹8,345 and 52-week low at ₹4,488.

Trent Limited is an Indian company that operates a number of retail chains focusing on fashion, lifestyle, and groceries. The company is a part of the Tata Group and was established in 1998. The company is headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The shares of the company are listed on NSE with the ticker symbol TRENT and on BSE with the code 500251.

Shares Fall Despite a 17% Jump in Q2FY26 Revenue YoY

The shares of the company have fallen despite Trent reporting a 17% year-on-year (YoY) rise in standalone revenue from product sales (including GST) to ₹5,002 crore for the second quarter of FY26, compared with ₹4,260 crore in Q2FY25. For the first half of FY26 (H1FY26), revenue increased 19% YoY to ₹10,063 crore, up from ₹8,488 crore in the year-ago period.

As of September 30, 2025, the Tata Group retail arm operated 261 Westside stores and 806 Zudio outlets (including 3 in the UAE), along with 34 other lifestyle concept stores. During Q2FY26, Trent added 13 new Westside stores and 40 new Zudio outlets on a net basis.

The fall in share price comes as the investor sentiment has turned negative, with most investors selling the shares in today’s session. It remains to be seen if the shares will witness better investor demand tomorrow or in the coming days.
