U.S. equities extended losses for a third session as surging long‑duration bond yields and a sharp selloff in mega‑cap tech dragged benchmarks lower. The Nasdaq fell 1.33%, the S&P 500 0.69%, and the Dow 0.22%, with the global bond rout pushing the U.S. 30‑year yield to a 19‑year high near 5.34%. Oil climbed further as the U.S. & Iran ceasefire expired and hostilities escalated in the Strait of Hormuz.

Domestically, the rupee weakened and India’s crude import bill spiked 41% YoY. Nifty fell for a sixth straight session to 24,154, breaking key support at 24,200. Next support sits at 24,050, while resistance lies at 24,300–24,350 and 24,600.
