Mumbai, July 1, 2025 – After an impressive debut with the share reaching the upper circuit (₹1050 per share) during the early trading hours, the stock of Raymond Realty tanked by 5%. It hit the lower circuit, thereby reversing all gains. The share moved almost 10% (total swing), signifying massive volatility.

At 03:00 PM, the stock traded at ₹950 per share (down 8.59% from the listing price).

Intraday Turnaround: From Upper to Lower Circuit

Raymond Realty began trading on a strong note, briefly touching its 5 percent upper circuit of ₹1,050. However, profit booking and a lack of buying support dragged the stock down to its lower circuit limit of ₹950, a full 10 percent swing from the day’s high. The adjusted price was set at ₹1,000, with the previous close marked at ₹1,039.30.

As of 2:34 PM IST:

Heavy Sell-Side Pressure

The stock recorded a sell quantity of 81,939 shares on the order book with virtually no buy-side bids, highlighting the bearish sentiment by mid-session. The scrip is trading in the BE (Trade-for-trade) segment and is subject to a 5 percent price band.

52-Week High and Low on Same Day

Since this is the listing day, Raymond Realty has already set its 52-week high and low:

  • 52-Week High: ₹1,050
  • 52-Week Low: ₹950

Sector and Index

Raymond Realty is part of the Nifty 500 index and classified under Residential and Commercial Projects. The listing follows its demerger from Raymond Ltd, with shareholders receiving a 1:1 allotment as part of the restructuring.

Outlook

While the initial enthusiasm around the listing led to a strong opening, the sharp reversal signals investor caution amid a broader, volatile market. The next trading sessions will be critical in determining investor confidence in Raymond Realty’s standalone growth story.
