Mumbai, July 15:The Alpine Texworld IPO witnessed a gradual improvement in investor participation on the second day of bidding, although the public issue was yet to cross the fully subscribed mark in early trade. As of 10:39 AM, the ₹126.25 crore IPO had been subscribed 0.40 times, with retail investors continuing to account for a large share of the applications received so far.
The issue opened for subscription on July 14 and will remain available for bidding until July 16. While subscription is still at an early stage, the second day’s numbers suggest investors are gradually adding fresh bids. The Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIB) category, excluding anchor investors, has already crossed the one-time mark, while participation from the NII segment has also improved compared with the opening day.
The IPO is entirely a fresh issue of 1,20,24,000 equity shares aggregating ₹126.25 crore. The company has fixed the price band at ₹100 to ₹105 per share, and investors can apply in lots of 142 shares.
