Mumbai, May 4: Corporate actions this week will see a string of dividends, a stock split, a bonus issue and a share buyback, offering multiple stock-specific triggers across sectors.
The spotlight will largely shine on dividend payers as more than a dozen companies go ex-date through the week.
Kicking things off on May 4, UCO Bank trades ex-dividend for a final payout of ₹0.44 per share, while Jagsonpal Pharmaceuticals also goes ex-date for its buyback.
Moving on to Tuesday, May 5, Hexaware Technologies goes ex-dividend for an interim payout of ₹8.50 per share while Elantas Beck India offers ₹7.50 per share. Alongside, Avro India will execute a stock split, reducing its face value from ₹10 to ₹1, while REIT and InvIT players like Mindspace Business Parks REIT and Indus Infra Trust get to witness income distributions.
Moving on to mid-week, Odyssey Technologies trades ex-dividend on May 6 for a final dividend of ₹1 per share.
Biggest Highlight
The biggest highlight, however, comes on May 7, when Oracle Financial Services Software goes ex-dividend for a massive interim payout of ₹270 per share—the highest among all companies this week, and a key trigger likely to draw investor attention.

Friday (May 8) will see the busiest action, with a host of companies trading ex-dividend. These include National Aluminium Company (₹2 per share), Laurus Labs (₹1.20), Central Bank of India (₹0.60), KSB (₹4.40) and Sundram Fasteners (₹4.25), among others.
Structural Actions
Beyond dividends, structural corporate actions will also be in focus. Alka India has announced a bonus issue in the ratio of 6:1, with May 8 as the record date, adding another layer of investor interest.
Overall, the week underscores a strong phase of shareholder returns, with dividends dominating the calendar while bonus issues, splits and buybacks add tactical opportunities. Analysts note that such corporate action-heavy weeks often lead to stock-specific volatility, as prices adjust to ex-dates and investors position themselves to capture payouts.
For market participants, the key lies in tracking record dates and eligibility timelines, since only shareholders holding stocks before the ex-date qualify for these benefits.
In essence, while broader market cues remain driven by global factors, this week offers a distinctly domestic flavour where corporate actions, rather than macro signals, could drive pockets of activity across the market.
