G.V. Electricals IPO continued to witness overwhelming demand on Day 5, with the issue subscribed 110.06 times as strong participation from non-institutional and retail investors kept the ₹42.25 crore SME public issue firmly oversubscribed.

Mumbai, August 06: Investor appetite for the G.V. Electricals IPO showed little sign of cooling on the fifth day of bidding, with the ₹42.25 crore SME public issue drawing bids for 110.06 times the shares on offer by 10:44 AM on August 6. Although the subscription multiple was largely steady compared with the previous session, demand remained exceptionally strong across investor categories, keeping the issue among the most heavily subscribed SME offerings in the market.
The IPO, which opened on July 31, 2026, will close on August 7, 2026 after its subscription period was extended. The issue consists of a fresh issue and an offer for sale, with shares offered at a final issue price of ₹130 per share.
NII Investors Continue To Dominate
The biggest contributor to the issue remained the non-institutional investor (NII) category, which was subscribed 232.68 times. Within this segment, bids from larger high-net-worth investors stayed particularly robust, with the bNII portion subscribed 280.81 times, while the sNII category stood at 136.41 times.
Retail investors also maintained strong interest in the issue. The retail quota was booked 84.01 times, reflecting sustained participation from individual investors despite the issue already being heavily oversubscribed.
Institutional demand also remained healthy, with the QIB (excluding anchor investors) portion subscribed 62.61 times.

- Offer for Sale:2.50 lakh shares aggregating ₹3.25 crore
The IPO has been priced at ₹130 per share. Investors were required to apply for a minimum of 2,000 shares, translating into a minimum investment of ₹2,60,000 for the retail category.
