G.V. Electricals IPO witnessed robust investor demand on Day 2, with the SME issue subscribed 9.90 times as strong retail and NII participation drove overall bidding higher.

Mumbai, August 03: The G.V. Electricals IPO continued to receive a strong response from investors on the second day of bidding, with the SME public issue subscribed 9.90 times by late morning. Robust participation from retail investors and non-institutional investors (NIIs), along with healthy interest from qualified institutional buyers (QIBs), kept the issue comfortably oversubscribed.
According to exchange data available till 11:44 AM, the ₹42.25 crore IPO received bids for 2.06 crore shares against 20.82 lakh shares on offer, excluding the market maker portion. The issue had attracted 7,655 applications at the time of the latest update.
With one more day of bidding remaining after today, investors will closely monitor subscription levels across all investor categories ahead of the issue’s closure on August 4, 2026.

G.V. Electricals is raising ₹42.25 crore through:
- Fresh Issue: 27.20 lakh equity shares aggregating ₹35 crore
- Offer For Sale: 2.50 lakh equity shares aggregating ₹3.25 crore
The issue also includes a market maker reservation of 2.80 lakh shares, taking the total issue size to 32.50 lakh shares.
The IPO is priced in the range of ₹123 to ₹130 per share. Retail investors can apply for a minimum of 2,000 shares, requiring an investment of ₹2,60,000 at the upper price band.
Ahead of the public issue, the company mobilised ₹11.54 crore from anchor investors.
