Strong Q2 Performance Fuels Market Optimism

The company reported a robust Q2 FY26 performance, marking a strong recovery compared to the previous year. Consolidated profit soared to ₹888.4 crore, up from ₹255.1 crore in Q2 FY25, representing a staggering 248% year-on-year growth. This growth reflects improved cost control, enhanced operating efficiencies, and stronger traction across key business segments. Revenue rose to ₹1,810.4 crore, up 30.8% from ₹1,383.8 crore a year ago, demonstrating healthy top-line growth. The combination of explosive profit growth and steady revenue expansion provided a positive backdrop for the stock’s upward movement in today’s session.

Factors Behind Today’s Upward Stock Movement

The sharp rise in profit was the primary driver of the bullish market response, with investors viewing the results as a validation of stronger project-level performance and effective execution across the company’s power and infrastructure portfolio. Healthy revenue growth further bolstered sentiment, indicating rising demand and a steady pace of operations across its energy and airport-linked infrastructure assets. Together, these factors fuelled investor optimism, pushing the stock closer to its recent highs.
