Hathway Q2 Profit Falls Over 44% to Rs 10.16 Cr; Revenue Rises 5.7%

New Delhi: Hathway Cable & Datacom Ltd, provider of cable and internet services, on Wednesday reported a 44.3 per cent year-on-year decline in its consolidated net profit to Rs 10.16 crore in the September quarter of FY27.

The company posted a net profit of Rs 18.25 crore in the July-September period a year ago, according to a regulatory filing from Hathway Cable, a firm owned by Reliance Industries Group.

Revenue from operations went up 5.74 per cent to Rs 567.51 crore in the September quarter of FY27. It was Rs 536.67 crore in the corresponding period a year ago.

Hathway’s revenue from its cable TV business was at Rs 409.56 crore in the second quarter of FY27, up 8.1 per cent year-on-year.

Its revenue from broadband services fell 2.8 per cent to Rs 142.71 crore in Q2 of FY27.

Total expenses of Hathway Cable were up 9.4 per cent to Rs 582.89 crore in the second quarter of FY27.

Hathway Cable’s total income, which also includes other income, rose 7.7 per cent to Rs 598.6 crore in the September quarter.

Share of Hathway Cable & Datacom Ltd on Wednesday settled at Rs 10.84 per scrip on BSE, down 2.61 per cent from the previous close.
