New Delhi, November 11, 2025: The share price of Jindal Stainless Limited (NSE: JSL) rose over 1% in the early part of the trading session on Tuesday. The surge was seen after the company came out with strong quarterly results for the second quarter of FY26.

Strong Financial Performance in Q2FY26

On a consolidated basis, Jindal Stainless’s net profit surged by 32.6% YoY to ₹808 crore. This was due to the increase of demand in the industrial, metro, and white goods segments. The quarterly revenue rose 11.4% to ₹10,893 crore. This reflects continuous domestic momentum and improved utilization levels.

The company maintained a strong balance sheet, with a net debt-to-equity ratio of just 0.2x, reflecting prudent financial management. This performance enabled Jindal Stainless to sustain profitability despite volatile raw material prices and a highly competitive steel market.

Market Reaction and Trading Snapshot

Shares of Jindal Stainless saw a spate of trading during the morning session with 7.6 lakh shares changing hands, amounting to ₹56.28 crore. Its VWAP stood at ₹740.46, while the market capitalization of the stock stood at ₹60,805 crore, and the free float market cap at ₹23,628 crore.

As of 10:41 am IST, Jindal Stainless was trading at ₹734.45, up 1.62%. The stock has fluctuated between a 52-week low of ₹496.60 and a high of ₹826.00 and currently trades at a P/E ratio of 21.60. As a constituent of the Nifty Metal index, it ranked among the top gainers following the quarterly results announcement.

Investor Confidence Strengthened by Fundamentals

Investors have gained more confidence in the company’s future on account of the steady growth of earnings, low debt, and expansion into high-demand sectors. The recent strong quarterly performance and the upbeat outlook by management have spread optimism in the steel industry as a ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌whole.
