Mumbai, April 7: United Drilling Tools Limited has secured a domestic order from ADiL Group for the supply of integral blade stabilizers.

These stabilizers sit at the heart of drilling operations, ensuring directional control, stability and efficiency in oil and gas wells.

The company expects to execute the order over a period of roughly two months, according to an exchange filing on Tuesday.

The order was secured against established Chinese manufacturers.

It signals that the company is not merely present in the market, but capable of winning in it.

Stock Market Snapshot

United Drilling Tools share price moved sharply higher during the session as investors reacted to the order announcement.

As of 15:30 IST on April 7, 2026, the stock was trading at ₹197.00, up ₹16.55 or 9.17% from the previous close of ₹180.45, according to exchange data.

The move was decisive. The stock opened at ₹182.99 and gathered momentum steadily, touching a high of ₹208.49 before easing slightly.

Why The Market Is Paying Attention

First, the product category. Integral blade stabilizers are high-value, high-precision equipment. Entry barriers are not trivial.

Second, the competition. Winning against international players, particularly cost-competitive ones, suggests both technical strength and pricing discipline.

Third, execution timeline. A shorter delivery cycle means faster revenue visibility.

Company Background And Positioning

United Drilling Tools Limited operates in the specialised oilfield equipment segment, manufacturing products used across drilling and production operations.

Over the years, the company has expanded its footprint beyond India into markets such as the Middle East, Southeast Asia and parts of Africa.

The stock’s sharp move captures that shift in perception.
