US equity markets ended the day on a mixed note yesterday, 13th November, 2025. Nasdaq ended the day, down by 61.84 points or 0.26%. Dow Jones ended the day, up by 326.86 points or 0.68%. S&P 500 ended the day, up by 4.31 points or 0.063%. Some major technology stocks that make up the Magnificent Seven declined yesterday. Amazon’s shares closed the day, down by 1.97% at $244.20. Meta shares closed the day, down by 2.88% at $ 609.01.

US government shutdown ends

US House of Representatives has passed the bill to end government shutdown. President Trump has also signed on the bill immediately after its passage. US Senate has already passed the bill.

European markets continue with their gains

European markets continued with their gains, yesterday. Euro Stoxx 50 ended the day, up by 61.61 points or 1.08%. Dax ended the day, up by 293.40 points or 1.22%.  FTSE 100 ended the day, up by 11.82 points or 0.12%.

Asian markets open on a mixed note

Nikkei 225 is in green today. At 8.45 a.m. IST 13th November, 2025 it is up by 103.47 points or 0.20%. Hang Seng is seeing profit booking today. It is down by 106.68 points or 0.40%. Shanghai Composite is up by 11.77 points or 0.29%. Kospi index is down by 3.98 points or 0.096%.

India’s retail inflation falls to 0.25% in October

Indian markets are likely to start the day in green today. India’s consumer price inflation came down sharply to 0.25%, on annual basis, in October. This is the lowest inflation rate that the country has seen since CPI with new base year started in 2018.

Food inflation in the month stood at -5.02% on annual basis. This means that food prices in October 2025 declined in comparison to food prices in October 2024. The decline in inflation rate has increased the probability of RBI going for an interest rate cut in its December monetary policy meeting.
