US markets dipped Monday as higher crude and Middle East tensions revived inflation worries. S&P 500 – 0.33%, Nasdaq −0.12%. Yields stayed volatile as the Fed path remains uncertain.

India’s Q1 GDP beat expectations at 7.8%; bank liquidity jumped to ₹5 lakh cr and credit growth stayed strong at 19.3% YoY.

Rupee rebounded to 95.16 on RBI support and FX inflows. Closing Auction Session saw sharp moves due to index rebalancing. Nifty recovered after breaching 24,000; resistance at 24,200–24,250, support at 23,993.
