U.S. equities eased from record highs as renewed uncertainty over the Strait of Hormuz lifted crude prices and revived inflation worries ahead of this week’s CPI print. Nvidia fell after reports of a large third‑party financing initiative for AI infrastructure raised concerns over capital needs. Treasury yields climbed to 4.71% while oil moved higher on hardened U.S. & Iran positions.

Asian markets opened mixed. Domestically, strong July E‑way bill data signalled steady economic momentum. Nifty remained range‑bound at 24,583, oscillating between the 24,758 (200‑SMA) resistance and 24,384 (200‑EMA) support; a breakout from this band could drive the next directional move.
