Indian equities ended the week lower, snapping a four‑week winning streak as renewed U.S.–Iran hostilities and rising crude oil prices pressured sentiment. While global markets remained supported by AI-driven optimism, higher bond yields and geopolitical uncertainty increased volatility. Market focus now shifts decisively to the Q1FY27 earnings season, which will determine whether current valuations are justified amid a challenging macro backdrop.
Sectorally, NBFCs, telecom, consumer durables, EMS, and metals are expected to outperform on earnings. Technically, Nifty remains in consolidation; a breakout above 24,530 could reignite momentum toward 24,845, while 23,800 remains key support.
