New Delhi, Oct 15, 2025 – Shares of Asian Hotels (North) Limited (BSE: 500023, NSE: ASIANHOTNR) surged 1.54% to ₹337 on Wednesday as of 12:53 PM, after the company announced the execution of a Definitive Share Subscription Agreement (DSSA) with Elana Holdings Pte. Ltd., Singapore, for a substantial equity infusion.

Asian Hotels (North) Limited, incorporated in 1980 and listed since 2010, owns and operates the Hyatt Regency Delhi, one of the capital’s landmark luxury hotels. The company is part of the Hotels & Resorts sector on the Indian stock exchanges.

Board Approval and Agreement Details

The board of Asian Hotels (North) Ltd approved an agreement with Elana Holdings Pte. Ltd., Singapore, in its meeting on October 14, 2025, as part of the company’s capital restructuring plan. Under the agreement, Elana Holdings will subscribe to 2.32 crore equity shares of face value ₹10 each at an issue price of ₹330 per share, which includes a premium of ₹320 per share.

The investment, valued at approximately ₹765 crore, will be made through a preferential allotment and is intended exclusively for the repayment of outstanding loans and interest dues of the company. The investor will not have any board nomination or management control, and Elana Holdings is not part of the promoter group.

Investor Nature and Governance Terms

Asian Hotels clarified that Elana Holdings will act purely as a financial investor, without any managerial control or representation on the board. The investor will not form part of the promoter group and will not have rights to influence the company’s capital structure or management decisions.

Market Reaction

Following the announcement, shares were trading at ₹337.25, which is a 1.54% gain as of 12:53 PM today. Asian Hotels (North) shares have gained 64% in the last year, dipped 10% in the last six months, and gained 8.48% in the last month.

Asian Hotels (North) Ltd opened at ₹358.90, hitting an intraday high of ₹358.90 and a low of ₹331.60. The company has a market capitalization of ₹656.06 crore and a price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio of 3.29. No dividend has been declared for the quarter, and the stock currently offers no dividend yield. Over the past 52 weeks, the share has traded between a high of ₹419.50 and a low of ₹173.00.
