Caliber Mining & Logistics IPO closes for subscription today after witnessing strong investor demand, with the ₹450 crore issue subscribed 31.59 times by around 10:09 AM on Day 3.

Mumbai, July 21: It’s the last chance for investors to bid for the Caliber Mining & Logistics IPO, and the response suggests many aren’t waiting until the final bell. The ₹450 crore public issue continued to witness heavy buying interest on Tuesday morning, with overall subscription touching 31.59 times by around 10:09 AM, as demand from non-institutional and retail investors remained exceptionally strong.
The three-day IPO, which opened for subscription on July 17, will close later today. While the issue received a steady response on the opening day, bidding gathered momentum and carried into the final session, putting the IPO on course to end with one of the strongest subscription figures among recent mainboard offerings.
NII Investors Continue To Lead The Charge
The biggest contributor to the subscription numbers has been the Non-Institutional Investor (NII) category, where demand has remained far ahead of the shares available.
By around 10:09 AM, the NII quota had been subscribed 99.85 times, with both investor segments witnessing aggressive participation. The bNII portion was booked 102.46 times, while the sNII category stood at 94.64 times.
Retail investors also continued to show confidence in the issue. Their reserved portion was subscribed 19.51 times, indicating that applications continued to flow in despite the increasing competition for allotment.
Meanwhile, the QIB (excluding anchor investors) category was subscribed 1.52 times during the morning session. Institutional investors often place large bids during the final hours of an IPO, making today’s closing numbers particularly significant.
Caliber Mining IPO Subscription Status On Day 3
As per exchange data available around 10:09 AM on July 21, investors had bid for 23,46,68,105 equity shares against 74,29,247 shares reserved for the public issue.
The category-wise subscription stood at:
- QIB (Ex-Anchor): 1.52 times
- NII: 99.85 times
- bNII: 102.46 times
- sNII: 94.64 times
- Retail Investors: 19.51 times
- Overall: 31.59 times
The IPO had also attracted more than 17 lakh applications by the latest update, reflecting widespread participation across investor categories.
Subscription Momentum Has Strengthened With Every Passing Day
The subscription trend tells the story of how quickly investor interest picked up.
On Day 1, the IPO was subscribed 1.31 times, suggesting a decent opening. By the end of Day 2, however, demand had surged to 25.04 times, fuelled largely by strong buying from wealthy investors and improving retail participation.
The final day has only added to that momentum. Within the first few hours of trading, the overall subscription crossed 31 times, with several hours of bidding still left. If the current pace continues, the issue could finish with an even higher subscription multiple by the close of market hours.
