Data Patterns has bagged a ₹585.76 crore radar electronics order from Bharat Electronics, taking recent order receipts to ₹771.08 crore as the stock gained 1.22%.

Mumbai, August 21: Data Patterns (India) Limited has received a ₹585.76 crore order from Bharat Electronics Limited for the supply of radar electronics, giving another boost to the defence electronics company’s order pipeline.
The order has been placed by Bharat Electronics for the supply of radar electronics, according to Data Patterns’ exchange filing. The contract is domestic and will be executed in line with the agreed contractual terms.
The company has put the value of the order at ₹585.76 crore. It has also confirmed that there is no promoter or promoter-group interest in Bharat Electronics in relation to the contract, and that the order does not constitute a related-party transaction.
The latest win follows Data Patterns’ order book update of July 30, 2026, when the company had reported an order book of ₹2,654 crore, including orders already received as well as those negotiated but yet to be received.
Stock Market Snapshot
Data Patterns shares were trading at ₹4,757.40 as of 9:46 am IST on August 21, 2026, up ₹57.20, or 1.22%, from the previous close, according to the market data provided.
The Data Patterns share price started the session on a firm note before giving up some of its early gains. At the reported time, the stock remained comfortably in positive territory.
The move came as the company disclosed the sizeable radar electronics order from Bharat Electronics, adding a fresh contract to an already substantial defence-focused order pipeline.

Recent Orders Take Receipts To ₹771.08 Crore
There is another important detail in the filing. Data Patterns said it has received orders worth ₹771.08 crore since its July 30 announcement.
Of this amount, ₹745.93 crore relates to orders that had previously been classified as negotiated orders yet to be received. A further ₹25.15 crore represents new orders received after that announcement.
The ₹585.76 crore Bharat Electronics contract is included in the ₹771.08 crore total, giving investors a clearer picture of how previously discussed business has translated into actual orders.
BEL Order Strengthens Defence Electronics Pipeline
The latest contract keeps Data Patterns closely positioned within India’s defence electronics supply chain, with radar electronics forming the core of the newly awarded work.
Bharat Electronics is the awarding entity, while Data Patterns will execute the order under the terms of the contract. The filing does not specify a separate execution period and states that the timeline will be as per the contract.
For Data Patterns, the significance of the announcement lies not only in the size of the individual order but also in the continued conversion of its business pipeline into received contracts.
Conclusion
The ₹585.76 crore radar electronics order from Bharat Electronics adds meaningful scale to Data Patterns’ recent order receipts, which the company said have reached ₹771.08 crore since its July 30 update.
The stock was trading at ₹4,757.40 as of 9:46 am IST on August 21, 2026, up 1.22%. The latest disclosure therefore combines a sizeable new contract with further visibility on the company’s defence electronics order flow.
