Mumbai, October 16: DEE Development Engineers share price was trading 0.63% lower at ₹571.10 on Friday after the company disclosed a framework agreement with a domestic engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor to pursue opportunities in India’s nuclear power sector.
The agreement positions the company as a strategic partner for potential nuclear power projects, covering pre-bid support, design and engineering, manufacturing, sourcing and supply of piping products.
DEE Development Engineers’ Nuclear Power Agreement
Under the framework agreement, both parties will jointly pursue opportunities involving ongoing and upcoming nuclear power projects developed by public and private sector entities. The projects may cover pressurised heavy water reactors (PHWR), light water reactors (LWR) and small modular reactors (SMR).
DEE Development Engineers will provide pre-bid support, including budgetary offers and commercial inputs, alongside engineering services such as 3D modelling, piping design, stress analysis and technical documentation.
The company will also support the manufacturing, sourcing and supply of seamless and welded pipes, pipe fittings, flanges, piping spools, custom bends, valves, flow nozzles and other piping components.
The EPC contractor will handle customer interactions, enquiries, preparation of offers and contract finalisation, along with site activities such as fabrication, erection, testing and commissioning.
The company has not disclosed the contractor’s name for commercial and confidentiality reasons. The framework agreement does not constitute a confirmed supply order or contract, and no committed order value or execution timeline has been specified. Any projects secured will be disclosed separately as required.

The agreement creates a potential route for the company to participate in nuclear power projects, although the commercial impact will depend on whether specific orders are secured.
