Delhivery has launched “Delivery Maps”, an AI-powered mapping platform built on its logistics network, opening the technology to external businesses and developers.

Mumbai, June 19: Delhivery is betting that the technology it built to navigate India’s complex delivery landscape can become a business in its own right.
The logistics company on Thursday unveiled Delivery Maps, an AI-native mapping platform developed using data gathered from its nationwide logistics operations. Unlike traditional consumer-focused mapping services, the platform has been designed specifically for commercial use cases such as route planning, address validation, navigation, dispatch operations and logistics optimisation.
The launch marks a notable step in Delhivery’s effort to monetise technology developed internally over years of handling large-scale parcel movements across the country.
According to the company, the platform is powered by data generated from more than two billion shipments and over one billion daily GPS signals from a fleet exceeding 100,000 vehicles. Delhivery said the mapping suite has been built on its proprietary Naksha large language model and offers services including geocoding, reverse geocoding, vehicle-aware routing and navigation APIs.
The company has made the APIs commercially available to enterprises, developers and businesses looking to integrate mapping and logistics intelligence into their operations.
Stock Market Snapshot
The announcement had little immediate impact on the stock, which remained under pressure during afternoon trade.
As of 14:54 IST on June 19, 2026, Delhivery shares were trading at ₹457.60, down ₹1.60 or 0.35%. The Delhivery share price edged lower even as the company introduced what it described as India’s first AI-native mapping suite built on commercial logistics telemetry.
Investors may take a longer-term view of the development. While the platform is unlikely to materially alter earnings in the near term, it signals Delhivery’s intention to expand beyond logistics execution and build technology-led revenue streams.

Company Background
Founded as a logistics and supply chain company, Delhivery has evolved into one of India’s largest integrated logistics providers, serving e-commerce firms, enterprises and small businesses.
Over the years, the company has invested heavily in technology infrastructure, automation and data-driven operations. Those investments have helped it build capabilities that extend beyond parcel delivery, including software, supply chain management tools and logistics intelligence platforms.
The launch of Delivery Maps reflects a broader trend among technology-enabled companies seeking to commercialise internal platforms and create new revenue opportunities from proprietary data and software assets.
Conclusion
For most logistics companies, maps are simply a tool. Delhivery is attempting to turn them into a product.
Whether Delivery Maps can emerge as a meaningful business line remains to be seen, but the launch
