DPIIT, Ather Energy Sign MoU for Giving a Boost to EV Manufacturing

New Delhi, July 29, 2025: The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, has signed a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ather Energy, an electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer. This agreement aims to bolster India’s clean mobility ecosystem and deepen support for advanced manufacturing startups. Formalised under the Startup Policy Forum’s ‘Build in Bharat’ initiative, the MoU establishes a comprehensive framework for collaboration between the government and the private sector to propel EV manufacturing and innovation.
At 3:10 p.m. IST, the stock is up by 1.45% at Rs 343.80.

Under this MoU, DPIIT and Ather Energy will collaborate on several key fronts:
