Dr Reddy’s, Cipla shares among top gainers today; Bajaj-Auto among top losers

21^st August 2025: At 12:55 p.m. 21^st August, 2025, top 3 gainers at Nifty 50 are Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Cipla, and  Bajaj Finance. Top 3 losers at this time are Bajaj-Auto, Power Grid and IndusInd Bank.

Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories and Cipla are gaining today on increased hopes that an Indo – US trade deal may still happen. Both the companies are heavily exposed to US marker. Higher US tariffs will hurt them considerably.

Bajaj-Finance stock is continuing the upward trend that started on August 18^th. This trend started after government’s proposed GST rate cut announcement.

Top Losers

Bajaj-Auto share is down by 1.65% at this time. This, because of the profit booking that is taking place, after the gains of past few days.

Power Grid share is down by 1.32% at this time.  Solar power output is being reduced to keep power grids stable.

IndusInd bank share is down by 1.09%, trading at Rs 768.50.  The company’s stock has been in a downtrend since 18^th August. Risk regarding the company remains high as it continues to deal with the accounting related issues that cropped up earlier this year. Since then the banking company has made a number of new leadership appointments, including the appointment of a new CEO.
