Short build-up seen in Nifty futures
Create Shorts with stop loss at 24850 Levels
Nifty fell 73 points to close at 24649, with the Indian market underperforming global indices. This reaction was primarily attributed to renewed tariff threats on India by Donald Trump.
Short Build-Up was seen in the Nifty Futures where Open Interest rose by 0.73% with Nifty falling by 0.30%.
Short Build-Up was seen in the Bank Nifty Futures where Open Interest rose by 18.18% with Bank Nifty falling by 0.47%.
Nifty Open Interest Put Call ratio fell to 0.83 levels from 0.94 levels.
Amongst the Nifty options (07-Aug Expiry), call writing is seen at 24700-24800 levels, indicating Nifty is likely to find strong resistance in the vicinity of 24700-24800 levels. On the lower side, an immediate support is placed in the vicinity of 24600-24500 levels where we have seen Put writing.
Short build-up was seen from the side of FIIs in the Index Futures segment where they net sold contracts worth 2,249 cr with their Open Interest going up by 11544 contracts.
