Kirloskar Industries Appoints George Verghese as Managing Director for Five-Year Term

Kirloskar Industries Limited, a flagship company of the Kirloskar Group, has approved the appointment of Mr. George Verghese as Managing Director for a term of five years from May 21, 2025, to May 20, 2030, subject to shareholders’ approval.

The move is the part of the strategic plan of Kirloskar industries to diversify and turnaround business in its focused verticals such as wind energy, real estate investment holdings and etc.
“George has had a diverse career with some of the companies of the group and brings extensive experience in business strategy, operational execution, leadership, HR transformation, marketing, and culture,” said Mr. Atul Kirloskar, Chairman of the Board. “I am happy to welcome him to the Kirloskar Industries family.

About George Verghese
An experienced business leader with more than two decades in cross-sector roles across global and Indian companies like Dell, Reliance Communications, and Cummins, Mr. Verghese. He had moved to the Kirloskar Group in April 2021 as Vice President – Group HR, before working as the CHRO and Chief of Staff at Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd. Throughout his term, he was key to driving the recovery and transformation of the company.
