LAPL Automotive IPO entered its third and final day of bidding with strong demand, as the ₹32.40 crore issue was subscribed 70.56 times by 10:54 AM, led by 105.04 times subscription in the retail category.

Mumbai, August 10: The LAPL Automotive IPO is heading into the final hours of bidding with demand already running at several times the shares on offer. The ₹32.40 crore SME issue was subscribed 70.56 times by 10:54 AM on August 10 2026, according to the latest exchange data, with retail investors and non-institutional investors driving the
response.
The issue opened for subscription on August 06 2026 and closes today, August 10 2026. The sharp rise in demand over the three-day bidding period has taken the IPO from 4.46 times subscription on Day 1 to 31.41 times on Day 2, before crossing the 70-times mark on the final morning.
Retail investors have been particularly active, with their reserved portion already subscribed more than 100 times. NII participation has also remained strong, while the QIB category has crossed the three-times mark.

The issue had received bids for 16,20,52,800 shares against 22,96,800 shares available for subscription at the time of the update.
The IPO had also attracted 57,168 applications, underlining the scale of participation in the SME issue.
Retail Investors Keep The Lead
The retail category has emerged as the strongest segment so far, with the portion subscribed 105.04 times. That means investors have placed bids for shares worth more than 100 times the quantity reserved for the retail category.
The NII category was not far behind, with subscription reaching 78.94 times. Within the segment, the bNII portion stood at 79.93 times, while the sNII portion was subscribed 76.97 times.
The QIB category, excluding anchor investors, was subscribed 3.57 times by the latest update. While institutional participation is lower than that of retail and NII investors, the category has also moved into oversubscription territory on the final day.

The issue has picked up momentum sharply since opening.

The jump from 4.46 times on the opening day to more than 70 times on the final morning shows how quickly demand accelerated as the IPO moved towards closure.

LAPL Automotive IPO Details
LAPL Automotive is raising ₹32.40 crore through a completely fresh issue of 34,46,400 equity shares.
The IPO carries a price band of ₹88 to ₹94 per share, with the issue price fixed at the upper end of the band. The lot size is 1,200 shares.
At ₹94 per share, retail investors applying for the minimum two lots of 2,400 shares need to invest ₹2,25,600.
The issue has reserved 49.78% for QIBs, 15.18% for NIIs and 35.04% for retail investors. A further 5.01% of the issue has been set aside for the market maker.
Before the public issue opened, LAPL Automotive raised ₹9.18 crore from anchor investors, with 9,76,800 shares allotted at ₹94 per share.
LAPL Automotive IPO Listing Date
LAPL Automotive shares are scheduled to list on the BSE SME platform on August 13 2026.
The listing will follow the completion of the allotment and other post-issue procedures. Investors should therefore keep track of the allotment announcement once the subscription window closes.
