Mumbai, August 10: Dhoot Transmission IPO opened for subscription on August 10, with bidding still gathering pace through the first half of the session. At 12:04 PM, the ₹3,066.89 crore issue had been subscribed 0.20 times.

The NII portion was ahead of the other main investor categories at 0.30 times. Retail investors had subscribed 0.26 times, while the QIB portion, excluding anchor investors, had received only 26,112 bids against more than 70 lakh shares on offer.

The employee portion was at 0.54 times. The issue will remain open until August 12, giving investors two more days after the opening session to place bids.

Across the public and employee categories, investors had bid for 49,76,019 shares against 2,51,25,390 shares offered. NII investors accounted for 17,35,836 bids, while the retail category had received 31,72,744 bids.

The NII book had the busiest start among the three main public categories. It received bids for 17,35,836 shares against 57,21,329 shares reserved for the segment.

Retail bidding was also underway, with 31,72,744 shares bid for against 1,22,99,768 shares available. Within the NII pool, the sNII portion had drawn more bids than bNII, standing at 0.47 times compared with 0.26 times.

QIB bidding was quieter at this point. Excluding the anchor allocation, the category had received bids for 26,112 shares against 70,28,440 shares on offer.

The NII split showed a clear difference in the opening hours. The sNII category, covering applications below ₹10 lakh, was subscribed 0.47 times, while bNII applications above ₹10 lakh stood at 0.26 times.

Brief Overview Of The IPO

Dhoot Transmission IPO is a ₹3,066.89 crore bookbuilding issue. The price band is ₹829 to ₹871 per share and the lot size is 17 shares. At the upper end of the band, one retail lot costs ₹14,807.

The issue comprises a fresh issue of 1.61 crore shares aggregating up to ₹1,400 crore and an offer for sale of 1.91 crore shares aggregating up to ₹1,666.89 crore.

Of the net offer, 1,75,71,097 shares, or 49.37%, are reserved for QIBs. NIIs have been allocated 57,21,329 shares, or 16.07%, while the retail quota comprises 1,22,99,768 shares, or 34.56%. The QIB allocation includes 1,05,42,657 shares reserved for anchor investors.

There is also a separate employee reservation of 75,853 shares. Employees are eligible for a ₹80 discount to the issue price.

Axis Capital Ltd. is the book running lead manager and Kfin Technologies Ltd. is the registrar to the issue. The shares are scheduled to list on the NSE on August 17, 2026.
