Mumbai September, 02: Magellanic Cloud Limited has completed the handover of 685 sites under Phase 1 of its deployment for Punjab & Sind Bank, covering nearly 74% of the total 930-site scope.
The company said the deployment was completed in the second week of August 2026, roughly five months after the purchase order was issued on March 19, 2026. The project involves technology-led e-surveillance infrastructure across the bank’s network.
According to the company, completing 685 sites within the five-month period demonstrates its ability to execute geographically distributed projects while coordinating deployment and operations across a large banking network.
The project also includes operations and maintenance support, extending Magellanic Cloud’s engagement with Punjab & Sind Bank beyond the initial deployment phase.
Stock Market Snapshot
Magellanic Cloud shares were trading at ₹26.61, down ₹0.06 or 0.22%, as of 9:31:11 AM IST on September 2, 2026, according to the market data provided.
The stock initially moved higher after the market opened, touching close to ₹26.95 before giving up most of those gains. It subsequently moved below the ₹26.70 level and was trading marginally lower at the latest available price.
The Magellanic Cloud share price movement remained subdued even as the company reported completion of a substantial portion of the Punjab & Sind Bank deployment.

Deployment Strengthens BFSI E-Surveillance Business
The completed rollout adds to Magellanic Cloud’s work in the banking, financial services and insurance segment, where demand is increasingly shifting from conventional surveillance towards connected and centrally managed security systems.
The company said its offering combines e-surveillance with artificial intelligence, cloud computing, analytics and digital infrastructure. The Punjab & Sind Bank project involves deployment across a geographically distributed network, requiring coordination across multiple locations.
Magellanic Cloud also highlighted the execution speed of the project. From the March 19, 2026 purchase order, the company reached the 685-site handover milestone within approximately five months.
Magellanic Cloud Sees Further Scope In Critical Infrastructure
The company said the latest milestone strengthens its capabilities in technology-led and AI-powered e-surveillance for BFSI and other critical infrastructure environments.
Magellanic Cloud operates through subsidiaries including Motivity Labs, Provigil Surveillance, IVIS International, Scandron, MCRAY XTEND India, Finoux and JNIT Technologies. Its operations span digital transformation, generative AI, cloud computing, e-surveillance and drone technologies.
The company said it has deployed its technology across sectors including railways, highways, banking and other critical infrastructure environments, giving the Punjab & Sind Bank project relevance beyond the current 685-site rollout.
Conclusion
Magellanic Cloud has completed the handover of 685 Punjab & Sind Bank sites under Phase 1, representing approximately 74% of the total 930-site deployment scope.
The milestone follows a purchase order issued on March 19, 2026, with the company completing the deployment within about five months. Magellanic Cloud will continue to support the bank’s e-surveillance infrastructure through operations and maintenance services.
Shares were trading at ₹26.61, down 0.22%, as of 9:31:11 AM IST on September 2, 2026, according to the market data provided.
