Mumbai September, 01: Magellanic Cloud Limited’s wholly owned subsidiary Provigil Surveillance Limited has received a Letter of Acceptance worth ₹3.29 crore from Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited (DFCCIL) for an AI-led e-surveillance project in the Ajmer division.
The latest contract covers the supply, installation, operation and maintenance of an AI-led e-surveillance system, including intrusion monitoring cameras, Automatic License Plate Recognition (ALPR), SP/PSP/ATS/TSS systems, common stores and related equipment.
The project will be executed on an OPEX model for five years and includes deployment at the Control Centre at New Sardhana DFCCIL Station on the Madar-New Palanpur section of the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor.
This is the third order received by Provigil from DFCCIL in the past five weeks. The company said the earlier two orders were valued at ₹3.73 crore and ₹8.90 crore, taking the combined value of the three wins to more than ₹15.9 crore.
Stock Market Snapshot
Magellanic Cloud shares were trading at ₹27.22, up ₹0.57 or 2.14%, as of 9:31:45 AM IST on September 1, 2026, according to the market data provided.
The stock moved higher after opening trade and climbed above ₹27.20 during the early session. It touched the ₹27.40 zone before easing slightly, but remained firmly in positive territory at the reported timestamp.
The Magellanic Cloud share price was therefore showing a positive market reaction as the company highlighted the latest DFCCIL order and the cumulative order wins secured by Provigil over recent weeks.

AI-Based Surveillance Expands Provigil’s Railway Presence
The latest contract goes beyond conventional CCTV deployment. According to the company, the system will combine IP-based cameras with the DFCCIL communication network, centralised monitoring, automated alerts and escalation, reporting dashboards and technical manpower services.
The project is designed to provide connected and centrally managed surveillance across critical railway infrastructure. Its five-year OPEX structure also gives Provigil a continuing role in operating and maintaining the deployed system rather than limiting its involvement to installation.
The company said the order was received in the ordinary course of business and is aligned with its core activities in integrated e-surveillance, security and technology solutions.
Magellanic Cloud Builds Order Momentum In Critical Infrastructure
The third DFCCIL order in five weeks adds to Provigil’s recent activity in India’s railway infrastructure segment. The three contracts together have a disclosed value of more than ₹15.9 crore.
Magellanic Cloud said the latest win strengthens its presence at the intersection of artificial intelligence, e-surveillance and critical infrastructure. The company also pointed to increasing use of technology for proactive monitoring, faster incident response and improved operational visibility across large infrastructure networks.
For the company, the repeated orders from DFCCIL also provide evidence of continued demand for its surveillance and technology services within the transportation and government infrastructure space.
Conclusion
Provigil Surveillance has secured a ₹3.29 crore Letter of Acceptance from DFCCIL for an AI-led e-surveillance project in the Ajmer division, with the contract to be executed over five years on an OPEX model.
The order marks the subsidiary’s third DFCCIL win in five weeks, taking the combined disclosed value of the three orders above ₹15.9 crore. The company said the project is part of its broader focus on integrated surveillance and technology solutions for critical infrastructure.
Magellanic Cloud shares were trading 2.14% higher at ₹27.22 as of 9:31:45 AM IST on September 1, 2026.
