Mahindra & Mahindra Share Rise 2.98% After Company Reports August Sales of 75,901 Vehicles

Sept 1. 2025 – Mahindra & Mahindra Limited share price is trading in the green today. As of 2:20 PM, the shares are up by 2.98%, or 95.50 points and are trading at ₹3,295.00. The traded volume stands at 25.43 lakh shares, with the current market cap at ₹3,97,867 crore.
This comes after the company reported its August sales numbers. As per the report, the total sales in August were 75,901 vehicles. The company maintained flat growth year on year but the momentum in farm equipment was strong and steady exports helped offset declining sales in the SUV segment.
Passenger Vehicles
Mahindra & Mahindra sold 39,399 SUVs in the domestic market during August 2025. This figure is a 9% decrease from the 43,277 units it sold in August of last year. Including exports, overall SUV sales were 40,846 units. Year-to-date (April–August FY26), SUV sales increased by 15% to 2,41,337 units from 2,09,148 units in the previous year.
Commercial Vehicles & 3-Wheelers
The sales for domestic commercial vehicles were 22,427 units in August. Within this segment, LCVs in the 2–3.5T segment surged by 13% to 19,502 units, while 3-wheeler volumes rose by 13% to 10,527 units. The sub-2T LCV category remained flat and was down 1% at 2,925 units.
Exports
The company reported that its exports grew by 16% year on year to 3,548 units in August 2025. On the other hand, cumulative exports for April–August FY26 increased by 37% to 15,989 units from 11,700 units a year earlier.
