Mumbai, 15 October 2026: The US trading session featured major acquisitions, quarterly earnings, regulatory developments and capital-raising announcements. ManpowerGroup shares declined after revenue missed expectations, while Penske Automotive Group and CCC Intelligent Solutions announced multibillion-dollar take-private transactions. Banks reported stronger quarterly results, and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company raised its revenue growth outlook amid continued demand for advanced chips. Healthcare, AI, manufacturing and energy companies also disclosed developments affecting growth plans, funding needs and shareholder returns.

ManpowerGroup Revenue Misses by $10 Million, Shares Plunge 13%

ManpowerGroup (NYSE: MAN), the Milwaukee-based workforce solutions provider, reported third-quarter 2026 results before the US market opened on October 15. Revenue reached $4.84 billion, up 4.4% year-over-year but approximately $10 million below the consensus estimate of $4.85 billion. Although the shortfall was small in absolute terms, investors reacted to the revenue miss and cautious near-term outlook.

Adjusted earnings per share (EPS) came in at $1.01, matching Wall Street expectations and rising 24% from the previous year. Net earnings increased to $34.1 million from $18 million, while diluted EPS climbed to $0.71 from $0.38. Operating profit rose to $82.3 million, compared with $66.6 million a year earlier.

For the fourth quarter, management forecast diluted EPS of $1.03 to $1.13 and an effective tax rate of 44%. The outlook prompted concerns about demand for staffing services in an uncertain economic environment. ManpowerGroup shares fell approximately 13% during morning trading.

The company provides temporary and permanent staffing, recruitment process outsourcing and talent management services across more than 75 countries and territories. It also announced a leadership transition: Becky Frankiewicz is scheduled to become CEO on January 1, 2027, while current CEO Jonas Prising will move to the role of Executive Chair.

Penske Automotive Group to Be Taken Private at $212 Per Share

Penske Automotive Group (NYSE: PAG), headquartered in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, agreed to be taken private by its largest investors, privately held Penske Corporation and Japan’s Mitsui & Co. The transaction values the automotive dealership group at approximately $16.3 billion in enterprise value.

Under the merger agreement, eligible common shareholders will receive $212 per share in cash. The offer represents a premium of approximately 8.84% to the October 14 closing price, the trading session immediately before the announcement. The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2027 and is not subject to a financing condition.

Penske also increased its quarterly dividend by 1.4% to $1.46 per share. Shares rose approximately 8.7% in morning trading as investors responded to the cash offer and dividend increase. The proposed buyout gives eligible investors a defined transaction price, subject to completion of the deal.

Penske operates automotive and commercial truck dealerships across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy and Japan. Its businesses also include commercial vehicle distribution, vehicle financing and insurance services.

Labcorp Acquires BioReference Assets for Up to $872 Million

Labcorp Holdings (NYSE: LH), the Burlington, North Carolina-based laboratory services company, agreed to acquire selected laboratory assets from Opko Health’s (NASDAQ: OPK) BioReference Health subsidiary for up to $872 million in cash.

The transaction includes $722 million payable at closing, subject to adjustments based on closing business revenues, and an additional earnout of up to $150 million linked to revenue from the 4Kscore Test. Completion remains subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions.

The acquisition would expand Labcorp’s diagnostic testing operations and strengthen its position in the clinical laboratory market. For Opko Health, the sale could generate funds to support its balance sheet and allow management to concentrate on its pharmaceutical business and other priorities.

Opko shares surged 12.09% in premarket trading to $1.53 from the previous close of $1.32, while Labcorp shares traded modestly higher. The market response reflected the potential financial implications of the transaction for both companies.

Labcorp provides clinical laboratory testing and drug development services through its Diagnostics Laboratories and Biopharma Laboratory Services businesses.

Intuit shares rose approximately 5.9% in early trading following the announcement. The movement indicated a positive initial response to the proposed expansion, although the financial contribution will depend on integration and customer adoption.

CCC Intelligent Solutions Holdings (NASDAQ: CCC), a Chicago-based software and AI platform provider for the insurance industry, entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by a private investment consortium led by GTCR and including Elliott Investment Management.

The all-cash transaction carries an enterprise value of approximately $6.1 billion. CCC shareholders will receive $7.75 for each common share. This represents a premium of approximately 44% to the unaffected closing price on July 9, 2026, before media speculation about a possible sale. The offer also represents a 59% premium to the 30-day average price as of that date.

The premium highlights the value the acquiring investors place on CCC’s established software platform and position in insurance technology. Shares moved significantly higher following the announcement as investors assessed the proposed cash consideration.

Bank of New York Mellon Q3 EPS Beats Estimates by $0.10

The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation (NYSE: BNY) reported third-quarter 2026 adjusted EPS of $2.37, exceeding the consensus estimate of $2.26 by $0.11.

Total revenue increased approximately 12% year-over-year to $5.68 billion. Net income attributable to shareholders reached $1.61 billion, up 20% from the previous year, while GAAP diluted EPS rose 24% to $2.34.

The results reflected growth in fee income and net interest income, supporting profitability across the company’s investment services and asset management businesses. The earnings beat indicated that BNY continued to generate revenue growth from its diversified financial services operations.

Shares rose in premarket trading following the results as investors assessed the stronger earnings and revenue performance.

Headquartered in New York, BNY provides investment management, investment services and wealth management to institutions, corporations and individuals. Its operations include Investment Services, Investment and Wealth Management, and other activities.

U.S. Bancorp Q3 EPS of $1.34 Beats Estimates by $0.02

U.S. Bancorp (NYSE: USB), the Minneapolis-based banking company, reported third-quarter 2026 diluted earnings per common share of $1.34, up 9.8% year-over-year and above the consensus estimate of $1.32.

Net revenue reached a record $7.97 billion, representing an 8.6% increase from the year-earlier period. Net income rose 10% to $2.2 billion, reflecting growth across its banking and financial services operations.

The earnings result exceeded analyst expectations by $0.02 per share. Revenue growth and higher net income indicated that the bank maintained profitability despite a challenging interest rate environment. Investors also assessed its consumer banking, commercial banking and payment businesses when evaluating the quarterly figures.

Shares traded modestly higher following the announcement. While the earnings beat supported the initial response, future performance will depend on loan demand, funding costs, credit quality and the wider economic environment.

U.S. Bancorp provides banking, investment, mortgage, trust and payment services to consumers, businesses and institutions.

PNC Financial Q3 EPS Beats Estimates by $0.20

PNC Financial Services Group (NYSE: PNC), headquartered in Pittsburgh, reported third-quarter 2026 adjusted EPS of $5.09, exceeding the consensus estimate of $4.89 by $0.20. Revenue reached $6.562 billion, increasing 9.7% year-over-year but falling short of the $6.61 billion forecast.

Net income totalled $2.097 billion, equivalent to $4.97 per diluted share. Tangible book value per share stood at $107.64, providing another measure of the company’s financial position.

Higher net interest income and disciplined expense management supported the earnings beat. However, the revenue shortfall showed that stronger profitability did not translate into a beat across all major financial measures. Revenue was approximately 0.7% below expectations.

PNC shares traded modestly higher as investors weighed the stronger-than-expected earnings against the revenue miss. The results highlighted the importance of income growth, operating expenses and interest rate conditions for banks.

PNC is a diversified US financial services institution providing retail and business banking, corporate and institutional banking, asset management and residential mortgage services.

Charles Schwab Q3 Net Income Rises to $2.9 Billion

The Charles Schwab Corporation (NYSE: SCHW), based in Westlake, Texas, reported third-quarter 2026 net income of $2.9 billion, or $1.62 per share. This compared with net income of $2.36 billion and EPS of $1.26 in the year-earlier quarter. Adjusted EPS increased 29% to $1.69.

Total net revenue reached a record $7.2 billion, rising 17% year-over-year. Client assets totalled $13.3 trillion, while core net new assets reached $190 billion during the quarter, representing a 38% increase from the previous year.

The results reflected stronger revenue and continued client asset gathering. Higher trading activity and the growth of client assets contributed to performance, although investor attention remained on deposit trends and funding conditions.

Schwab shares traded modestly lower despite the earnings growth. The reaction suggested that some investors were considering factors beyond reported profitability, particularly the outlook for client deposits and the company’s funding mix.

Charles Schwab provides securities brokerage, banking, asset management, custody, wealth management and financial advisory services.

TSMC Q4 Revenue Outlook Reaches $54.3 Billion

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (NYSE: TSM), headquartered in Hsinchu, Taiwan, issued a stronger-than-expected fourth-quarter revenue outlook, forecasting sales of $52.3 billion to $54.3 billion.

At the midpoint, the forecast implies approximately 14% sequential revenue growth, while the upper end represents year-over-year growth of as much as 61%. The company also raised its full-year 2026 revenue growth projection to approximately 44% in US dollar terms, compared with its earlier outlook of around 40%.

The improved guidance reflects demand for advanced semiconductor manufacturing, particularly chips used in artificial intelligence accelerators and high-performance computing applications. AI-related investment has become an important factor for semiconductor suppliers as technology companies expand computing capacity.

Despite the upbeat outlook, broader weakness in technology stocks weighed on TSMC shares. The response illustrated that strong company guidance can still be affected by wider sector sentiment.

TSMC is the world’s largest dedicated independent semiconductor foundry. It manufactures wafers and provides packaging, testing and related services for chip designers and integrated device manufacturers.

Recursion Pharmaceuticals Prices $200 Million Offering

Recursion Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: RXRX), a Salt Lake City-based AI-driven drug discovery company, priced an underwritten public offering of 61.54 million Class A common shares at $3.25 each.

The offering is expected to generate approximately $200 million in gross proceeds. The price represents a discount to the previous closing price of $3.74, creating potential dilution for existing shareholders. The offering was expected to close on or around October 16, 2026.

Shares declined as investors assessed the impact of the discounted share issuance. Although the transaction provides additional funding, existing shareholders may see their ownership percentage diluted unless they participate or other changes offset the effect.

Recursion combines artificial intelligence, automated experimentation and biological research to discover and develop potential medicines. Its pipeline includes programmes in oncology, rare diseases and infectious diseases.

The company plans to use the net proceeds for general corporate purposes, including research and development.

Venture Global Signs $17.2 Billion Power Framework Agreements

Venture Global (NYSE: VG), an Arlington, Virginia-based liquefied natural gas developer, signed framework agreements with GE Vernova and Baker Hughes Energy Services for power generation and grid equipment supporting its LNG infrastructure.

The agreements have a potential combined value of approximately $17.2 billion and cover up to 16 new power island units. They were entered into on October 9, 2026, and disclosed through a regulatory filing on October 15.

The arrangements support expansion of Venture Global’s existing grid-independent power network. Reliable power infrastructure is important to its LNG operations, but the agreements also point to substantial future capital requirements.

Shares declined approximately 4.1% as investors considered the scale of the potential investment and its implications for spending and financing. The framework agreements establish a basis for equipment arrangements, but their full value should not automatically be treated as immediate expenditure.

Venture Global develops LNG export facilities in Louisiana and supplies liquefied natural gas sourced from North American natural gas resources.

Beazer Homes USA (NYSE: BZH) held a special shareholder meeting on October 15, 2026, to vote on its merger agreement with Dream Finders Homes (NYSE: DFH). Shareholders approved the proposed transaction, clearing a significant step towards completion.

The agreement received approximately 21.54 million votes in favour, 10,000 votes against and 30,000 abstentions. Eligible Beazer Homes shareholders are set to receive $33.50 per share in cash under the merger terms.

The approval removes a key shareholder-related hurdle, although the transaction remains subject to applicable regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions. Completion was expected in the fourth quarter of 2026.

The transaction brings together two US homebuilders with operations across several residential markets. SenesTech Reports Record Preliminary Q3 Revenue

The figure represents an increase of approximately 40% compared with the second quarter of 2026 and approximately 55% compared with the third quarter of 2025. It also marks the company’s first quarter in which revenue reached or exceeded $1 million.

The preliminary results indicate stronger sales momentum, although revenue growth alone does not establish profitability or demonstrate longer-term financial performance. Final results will provide further information about expenses and other financial measures.

SenesTech develops products intended to control rodent populations by reducing fertility. Its portfolio includes ContraPest, a liquid bait designed to reduce rodent fertility rather than relying solely on conventional population-control approaches.

Velo3D Announces Preliminary Q3 Revenue Growth

Velo3D (NYSE: VLD) released preliminary, unaudited revenue information for the quarter ended September 30, 2026, forecasting third-quarter revenue between $19.5 million and $20.5 million.

The projected range represents year-over-year growth of approximately 43% to 51%, compared with revenue of $13.6 million in the third quarter of 2025. The figures suggest an increase in demand for the company’s metal additive manufacturing technology.

Velo3D develops advanced laser powder bed fusion printers and associated software used to manufacture complex metal components. Its technology serves aerospace, defence and energy customers, where specialised parts may require precise manufacturing capabilities.

The preliminary revenue range offers an early indication of quarterly performance, but it remains unaudited and may be subject to final reporting adjustments. Revenue growth also needs to be considered alongside production costs, margins, customer concentration and cash requirements.

Axon Enterprise Wins Federal Contracts for Cameras, Drones and TASER Devices

Axon Enterprise (NASDAQ: AXON), a Scottsdale, Arizona-based public safety technology company, announced federal contract developments involving body-worn cameras, digital evidence management, counter-drone systems and TASER devices.

Federal agencies added more than 22,000 Axon body-worn cameras and digital evidence management licences during the year. Under an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract, the Department of Homeland Security selected Axon’s Dedrone platform for real-time airspace monitoring.

Separately, the US Department of Veterans Affairs added more than 1,600 TASER 10 devices to begin equipping VA police officers responsible for protecting medical centres.

The announcements demonstrate demand across several areas of Axon’s product portfolio. Camera and digital evidence contracts can support hardware sales and recurring software revenue, while counter-drone technology offers an additional area of business development.

Axon manufactures conducted-energy devices, body-worn cameras and cloud-based evidence management software for law enforcement, military and civilian customers.

Krystal Biotech Announces Gorlin Syndrome Study Data

Krystal Biotech (NASDAQ: KRYS) announced clinical data from its Gorlin Syndrome Pilot Study evaluating KB113 for basal cell carcinomas in patients with Gorlin syndrome. The findings were scheduled for presentation at the 14th Pediatric Dermatology Research Alliance Annual Conference.

Of 83 assessed lesions, 69, equivalent to 83.1%, showed some degree of shrinkage. The company also reported regression in more than 80% of assessed basal cell carcinoma lesions across three patients.

The findings provide an update on Krystal’s development pipeline beyond Vyjuvek, its approved topical gene therapy for dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa. However, the pilot study involved a limited number of patients, and the reported lesion-level results do not independently establish effectiveness across a broader population.

Krystal develops genetic medicines for rare diseases. Its research and development strategy includes investigating additional potential applications for its technology and evaluating new candidates through clinical studies.

OpenWorld Signs Term Sheet for Up to $1 Billion Financing

OpenWorld (NASDAQ: OPNW) signed a non-binding term sheet with Meridian for up to $1 billion in tokenised financing intended to fund a distributed AI inference network powered by solar energy and Powerwall systems.

The proposed structure would support infrastructure designed to distribute computing resources and AI inference capabilities. However, the term sheet is non-binding, and the announced amount should not be treated as financing already received or a fully committed investment.

Shares fell approximately 8.7% as investors reacted to the announcement and considered the uncertainties surrounding the proposed financing structure. The decline reflected a negative initial market response, although the movement alone does not establish the reasons behind every investor’s decision.

OpenWorld focuses on distributed AI infrastructure and edge computing. Its proposed network is intended to support AI inference workloads across distributed resources rather than relying exclusively on conventional centralised infrastructure.

SkyAI Announces $201 Million Share Buyback Following SOL Sale

SkyAI (NASDAQ: SKYA) sold half of its Solana (SOL) treasury and announced plans for a $201 million share buyback through a tender offer.

The company proposed offering $3 per share for up to 95% of its outstanding shares and warrants. The tender offer was scheduled to commence around October 15, 2026, subject to the applicable offer terms.

SkyAI suspended its existing share repurchase programme and said it would not purchase shares outside the tender offer until at least 10 business days after the offer expires. The arrangements establish a defined approach to the planned capital return while the tender process remains underway.

The buyback could allow participating shareholders to sell eligible holdings at the stated offer price, depending on final terms and participation. Selling part of the SOL treasury provides a source of funds, although the transaction also reduces the company’s holdings of that digital asset.

Miniso Group Reports Share Repurchase

The disclosure provides details of the company’s recent share repurchase activity. Although the transaction was relatively small, buybacks can reduce the number of shares outstanding and form part of a company’s broader approach to capital management. The effect on shareholder value depends on the purchase price, the number of shares acquired and the company’s overall financial position.

Miniso is a global value retailer selling design-led lifestyle products and consumer goods. Its operations span China and international markets, with a focus on affordable products across several merchandise categories.

Sakuu to Go Public Through $620 Million Reverse Merger

Sakuu Corporation entered into a definitive business combination agreement to merge with Pyrophyte Acquisition Corp. II (NYSE: PAII) in a transaction valued at approximately $620 million.

The agreement includes a minimum closing cash condition of $30 million. After the transaction closes, the combined business is expected to be renamed Sakuu Corporation and trade on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker SAKU.

The proposed transaction would give Sakuu access to public capital markets and a platform to pursue its development and commercialisation plans. Completion remains subject to the merger agreement’s conditions, including the minimum cash requirement and other applicable approvals.

Sakuu develops solid-state battery technology for electric vehicles, consumer electronics and energy storage applications. Its platform is designed to support batteries with higher energy density and improved safety.

Iambic Therapeutics Raises $150 Million in IPO

Iambic Therapeutics (NASDAQ: IAM), a San Diego-based AI-powered drug discovery company backed by Nvidia, priced its initial public offering at $16 per share and began trading on the Nasdaq Global Select Market on October 15.

The company offered 9,375,000 common shares, generating $150 million in gross proceeds. Underwriters received a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 1,406,250 shares. The offering was expected to close on October 16, 2026.

Iambic shares rose approximately 16% during their trading debut, reaching $18.50 at 12:21 p.m. New York time after a volatility-related trading pause. The increase placed shares above the IPO price during the reported trading period.

The company plans to use the proceeds to advance three early-stage cancer drug candidates. Its technology combines artificial intelligence, machine learning and experimental biology to identify and develop potential medicines.

The IPO provides additional capital to fund research and development, but the company’s longer-term prospects will depend on clinical progress, development costs and future financing requirements.

Amaero Prices US IPO at $4.25 Per Share

Amaero (NASDAQ: AMRO), an advanced materials company already listed on the Australian Securities Exchange, priced its US initial public offering at $4.25 per share and began trading on the Nasdaq Capital Market.

The offering comprised 4,705,883 shares and raised approximately $20 million in gross proceeds. The IPO price was slightly below the equivalent of the company’s most recent ASX closing price of approximately $4.31.

Amaero shares opened at $4.10, below the offering price. The company intends to use the proceeds to purchase capital equipment and increase US production capacity, supporting plans to expand manufacturing operations.

Amaero produces specialised metal powders used in additive manufacturing, particularly for aerospace and defence applications. Its materials support the production of components through advanced manufacturing processes.

The Nasdaq listing gives the company access to US capital markets and potentially increases its visibility among American investors and customers. However, the proceeds will need to be deployed effectively to expand production and support future revenue growth.

Black Mammoth Metals Begins Nasdaq Trading

Black Mammoth Metals Corporation (NASDAQ: BMMX) commenced trading on the Nasdaq Capital Market on October 15, marking its entry into the US public market under the ticker BMMX.

The Canada-based mineral exploration company recently raised C$24 million. The Nasdaq listing provides another avenue for investor access and could improve the company’s visibility among US market participants.

Black Mammoth focuses on acquiring and exploring precious and base metal properties in North America. Its business prospects depend on exploration results, the identification of economically viable mineral resources and the capital required to advance projects.

The recent financing provides resources for exploration activities, although the amount available for specific projects will depend on spending plans and financial commitments. Mineral exploration involves uncertainty because positive early-stage results do not guarantee commercially viable deposits.

The listing represents a corporate milestone rather than evidence of a change in the underlying value of its mineral properties.

MongoDB Interim CEO Dev Ittycheria Receives $15 Million RSU Grant

MongoDB (NASDAQ: MDB) disclosed that Interim President and CEO Dev Ittycheria entered into an employment agreement on October 14, 2026, including a restricted stock unit grant valued at $15 million.

Ittycheria’s interim appointment became effective on September 28, following the departure of Chirantan CJ Desai, who left to join Meta Platforms. The equity grant forms part of the compensation arrangement during the leadership transition.

Restricted stock units generally provide eligible executives with shares or share-based value subject to applicable vesting conditions. The grant therefore represents a potential long-term compensation commitment, although its eventual value and benefit depend on the agreement’s terms and the company’s share price.

MongoDB shares traded lower in morning trading following the disclosure. The market reaction does not, by itself, establish whether investors were responding to the grant, the leadership transition or broader trading conditions.

MongoDB operates a general-purpose database platform that helps developers build and modernise applications. Its technology supports organisations across industries that manage application data and modern software workloads.

The October 15 trading session highlighted sharp stock movements driven by earnings surprises, acquisition announcements and company-specific risks. Penske Automotive and CCC Intelligent Solutions attracted attention with major take-private deals, while banking results reflected continued earnings growth. Meanwhile, CoreWeave’s debt concerns and Rocket Lab’s launch delay weighed on shares. The day’s developments underscored how financial performance, deal valuations, funding requirements and execution risks can influence investor sentiment across sectors.
