Aurobindo Pharma’s performance in June quarter below expectations

Overall performance was below expectations in the quarter. Revenue for the quarter grew 4% YoY at Rs 7868cr as against estimate of Rs 8119cr. Operating margin was down 100bps YoY at 20.4% as against expectation of 21%. Net profit was down 10.2% YoY at Rs 824.2cr. Other Income declined 52% YoY at Rs 105.3cr. US sales declined 2% YoY at Rs 3488cr. Europe revenue grew increased 18% YoY at Rs 2338cr. Total API sales declined 16% YoY at Rs 916cr. EPS for the quarter stood at Rs 14.2 and it stood at Rs 59.8 for FY25. At CMP, the stock trades at 15x FY27E EPS.

Oswal Pumps’ profit up by 34.3% in June quarter

Overall numbers were strong in the quarter. Revenue for the quarter grew 36.8% YoY at Rs 514cr. Operating margin improved 40bps YoY at 27.4%. Net profit was up 34.3% YoY at Rs 94.7cr. Finance cost increased 83% YoY to Rs 13cr. As of July 31, 2025 it had an order book of 29,961 pumps. Company guided for 50% growth in revenue along with steady margin for FY26. EPS for the quarter stood at Rs 8.54 and it was at Rs 28.2 for FY25. At CMP, the stock trades at 22x FY26E EPS.

Triveni Pumps’ profit down by 19%

Revenue down 19.9% YoY to Rs 371 crore. Net Profit was down 19% to Rs 64.5 crore. Other Income was up 15% YoY at Rs 22.2 crore. EBITDA declined 23% YoY to Rs 73.5 crore vs. Rs 95 crore. Operating margin was at 19.8% vs. 20.5%.

Shree Cement’s profit up by 132%

Shree Cement reported a 132% rise in its Q1 consolidated net profit at Rs 644 crore versus Rs. 278 crore in the year ago period. Shree Cement’s revenue from operations stood at Rs 5,281 crore, up 3% from Rs 5,124 crore reported in the corresponding quarter of FY25. Its margin increased to 25% from 18% in Q1FY25. The results were buoyed by a double digit expansion in operating earnings and a marked drop in expenses even as revenue growth remained modest.

LTI Mindtree gets Rs 792.5 crore from Income Tax department

The income tax department has selected mid-sized information technology firm LTI Mindtree Ltd for its project to upgrade technology infrastructure for managing Permanent Account Numbers (PANs). The Larsen & Toubro arm’s quoted bid value was Rs 811.5 crore exclusive of taxes, and the adjusted bid value was Rs 792.55 crore exclusive of taxes.

Indian Oil Corporation purchases 7 million barrels of crude oil from US, Canada and Middle East

Indian Oil Corporation has purchased seven million barrels of crude oil. The oil is sourced from the United States, Canada, and the Middle East. This purchase follows a pause in buying Russian crude due to narrowing discounts. The bought crude includes US West Texas Intermediate Midland, Canada’s Western Canadian Select, and Abu Dhabi’s Das oil.

Coal India targets 900 million tons of coal production by 2026

Coal India Limited aims to supply 900.24 million tonnes of coal by 2026. This is to meet increasing electricity needs and cut down on imports. The company plans to provide most of its coal to the power sector. Coal India also focuses on cleaner technologies and diversifying its business. They are investing heavily in infrastructure and new projects.

DLF’s profit up by 16.5% in June quarter

DLF Ltd posted a strong set of numbers for the quarter ended June 2025, reporting a 16.5% YoY rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 762.6 crore, compared to Rs 654.6 crore a year ago. Other Income declined 28% YoY at Rs 264 crore. Revenue nearly doubled to Rs 2,717 crore from Rs 1,362 crore in the corresponding period last year.

Azad Engineering profit up by 73.7% in June quarter

Overall numbers were in-line with expectations in the quarter. Revenue for the quarter grew 39.2% YoY at Rs 137cr. Operating margin improved 230bps YoY at 35.9%. Net profit was up 73.7% YoY at Rs 29.7cr. Other Income surged to Rs 8.7cr vs. Rs 0.62cr in Q1FY25. Order book position stood at Rs 6,000cr as of June-2025. EPS for the quarter stood at Rs 4.56 and it was at Rs 14.66 for FY25. At CMP, the stock trades at 52x FY27E EPS.

ICEA underlines the need to focus on achieving $500 billion production target

India Cellular and Electronics Association (ICEA) underlined the need for focusing on industrial and infrastructure electronics to achieve the USD 500 billion electronics manufacturing target by 2030-31.

Kirloskar Ferrous profit up by 36.35% in June quarter

Net profit was up 36.35% to Rs 95.12 crore in the quarter ended June 2025 as against Rs 69.76 crore during the previous quarter ended June 2024. Sales rose 9.3% to Rs 1698.09 crore in the quarter ended June 2025 as against Rs 1553.66 crore during the previous quarter ended June 2024.

GPT Infra profit up by 39.85% in June quarter

Net profit rose 39.85% to Rs 23.48 crore in the quarter ended June 2025 as against Rs 16.79 crore during the previous quarter ended June 2024. Sales rose 29.33% to Rs 312.63 crore in the quarter ended June 2025 as against Rs 241.73 crore during the previous quarter ended June 2024.

Marico’s profit up by 8.2% in June quarter

Consolidated Revenue from operations stood at Rs. 3,259 cr; up by 23.3% YoY, as domestic underlying volume growth (UVG) continued to improve sequentially to 9% in Q1FY26 constant currency growth of 19% in international business. Growth was driven by positive trends in core franchises and scale up of new businesses. Gross Margin contracted by 530 bps YoY (166 bps QoQ) as sharp inflation in key commodities continued to exert pressure. EBITDA at Rs. 655 cr in Q1FY26 grew by 4.6% YoY, as compared to Rs. 626 cr in Q1FY25. EBIDTA margin contracted by 359 bps YoY to 20.1%. PAT was up by 8.2% YoY to Rs 513 cr as against Rs 474 cr in Q1FY25.

BEML gets new order of Rs 282 crore

BEML has received an order from the Ministry of Defence for the supply of high mobility vehicles (HMV) 8×8. The contract is valued at approximately Rs 282 crore.

 

Kaynes Technology subsidiary signs MoU for investing Rs 4,995 crore in Tamil Nadu over the next 6 years

Kaynes Technology’s wholly owned subsidiary, Kaynes Circuits India Private Limited, has entered into a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Tamil Nadu. The MoU outlines a proposed investment of approximately Rs 4,995 crore over the next six years.

Kansai Nerolac’s June quarter profit down by 4.2%

Kansai Nerolac posted a 4.2% year-on-year decline in first-quarter net profit to Rs 220.9 crore, weighed down by lower operating margins. Revenue rose 1.4% to Rs 2,162 crore, while EBITDA fell 8.5% to Rs 303 crore. Operating margin narrowed to 14% from 15.5% a year earlier.

Delta Corp’s profit in June quarter up by 36.1%

Delta Corp reported a 36.1% year-on-year surge in net profit at Rs 29.4 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2025. The company’s revenue also rose modestly to Rs 184.7 crore from Rs 178 crore in the same period a year ago.

Aditya Birla Capital’s profit up by 10% in June quarter

Aditya Birla Capital Ltd (ABCL) reported a strong financial performance for the June quarter, with consolidated net profit rising 10% year-on-year to Rs 835 crore, while revenue grew 9.6% to Rs 9,503 crore. The total lending portfolio stood at Rs 1.66 lakh crore, marking a 30% YoY and 5% sequential rise. The mutual fund average AUM reached Rs 4.03 lakh crore, up 14% YoY, while the life insurance individual first-year premium grew 23% YoY to Rs 795 crore. Gross written premium for health insurance jumped 30% YoY to Rs 1,357 crore.

Escorts Kubota posts Rs 369.5 crore profit in June quarter

The company posted a net profit of Rs 369.5 crore, higher than Rs 302 crore from continuing operations in the same quarter last year. The company reported an exceptional gain of Rs 76 crore during the quarter. Revenue for the quarter stood at Rs 2,500 crore, down 3% year-on-year from Rs 2,574 crore. EBITDA remained flat at Rs 322 crore. EBITDA margin expanded by 50 bps year-on-year to 13%.

Siemens Energy’s profit up by 84% in June quarter

Revenue grew 20.2% to Rs 1,785 crore. Net Profit increased 84% to Rs 262.7 crore. EBITDA was up 59% to Rs 340.4 crore. Operating margin came in at 19.1% vs. 14.4%.

OneSource Speciality’s loss narrows down in June quarter

Overall performance was below expectations in the quarter. Revenue for the quarter grew 12% YoY at Rs 327.3cr. Operating profit was up 38% YoY at Rs 88.5cr. Net loss stood at Rs 0.2cr as against a loss of Rs 5.55cr in Q1FY25. Finance cost declined 34% YoY at Rs 27.5cr. Company maintains guidance of 30% CAGR in revenue and 40% EBITDA margin in FY28.

Sona BLW’s profit down by 23% in June quarter

Revenue down 7.6% to Rs 767 crore. Net Profit was down 23% to Rs 120 crore vs. Rs 154.9 crore. EBITDA was down 20% YoY to Rs 191.8 crore. Operating margin stood at 25% vs. 28.8%. Other Income surged to Rs 44.2 crore vs. Rs 7 crore in Q1FY25.

Godfrey Philips’ profit up by 55.9%

Revenue grew 36.5% to Rs 1,486 crore. Net Profit was up 55.9% to Rs 356 crore. Other Income was at Rs 76.7 crore vs. Rs 44.8 crore, a year ago. EBITDA was up 25% to Rs 338 crore.
