Torrent Power profit down by 25% in June quarter

Revenue declined 12.5% YoY to Rs 7,906.4 crore. EBITDA was down 20% to Rs 1,483 crore. Net Profit declined 25% to Rs 731.4 crore. Other Income was up 37% YoY at Rs 104.7 crore.

Lupin’s profit increased by 52% in June quarter

Company reported better operational performance in the quarter. Total revenue grew 11.9% YoY at Rs 6268cr as against estimate of Rs 6373cr. EBITDA margin expanded 540bps YoY at 27.6% as against expectation of 25.3%. Gross margin improved 290bps YoY at 71.3%. Net profit increased 52% YoY at Rs 1219cr. PBT for the quarter was up 42.5% YoY at Rs 1415.5cr. Foreign exchange gain stood at Rs 86cr vs. a forex loss of Rs 45.4cr in Q1FY25. US sales increased 24.3% YoY at Rs 2404cr on the back of few niche opportunities. Domestic formulations business grew 7.8% YoY to Rs 2089cr. Company launched 5 new products during FY25. Emerging markets sales grew 5.24% at Rs 652cr. Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) sales increased 17% YoY at Rs 775cr. API sales declined 33% YoY at Rs 243cr. EPS for the quarter stood at Rs 26.6 and it was at Rs 71.7 for FY25. At CMP, the stock trades at 21x FY27E EPS.

Sheela Foam profit down by 84.5% in June quarter

Overall performance was in line with expectations in the quarter. Revenue for the quarter grew 1.4% YoY at Rs 821.4cr as against estimate of Rs 850cr. Operating margin improved 180bps YoY at 9.2% as against expectation of 9.5%. Net profit was down 84.5% YoY at Rs 7.2cr. Other Income declined 68% YoY at Rs 9.7cr. Company reported MTM loss of Rs 12cr and foreign exchange loss of Rs 10cr in Q1FY26. Mattress volume increased 10% YoY at 8.13 lakh. In value terms, it has reported 9% growth at Rs 320cr. EPS for the quarter stood at Rs 0.68 and it was at Rs 8.83 for FY25. At CMP, the stock trades at 36.5x FY27E EPS.

Container Corporation of India profit up by 3% in June quarter

Container Corporation of India reported a 3% rise in its Q1 consolidated net profit at Rs 267 crore vs. Rs. 259 crore in the year ago period. Other Income was up 2% YoY at Rs 95.2 crore. Revenue from operations stood at Rs 2,154 crore, up 2% from Rs 2,103 crore reported in the corresponding quarter of FY25. Its margin decreased to 20% from 21% in Q1FY25.

Gujarat Gas revenue down by 13% in June quarter

Gujarat Gas revenue was below expectations and net profit was inline in Q1FY26, achieved its highest CNG volume of 3.33 million metric standard cubic metres per day (mmscmd) in the quarter. Standalone net revenue stood at Rs 3,871 crore, down by 13% YoY, revenue impacted due to lower demand. EBITDA was at Rs 520 crore in Q1FY26 vs. Rs 536 crore in Q1FY25. EBITDA growth was down by 3% YoY. Net Profit stood at Rs 327 crore in Q1FY26, it was almost flat YoY. Sales volumes was at 8.88 mmscmd in Q1FY26 as compared to 9.31 mmscmd in Q4FY25.

Bharti Hexacom profit down by 23.4%

Bharti Hexacom performance was below expectations Q1FY26. Consolidated revenue grew by 18.4% YoY to Rs 2,263 crore in Q1FY26, driven by rapidly increasing demand for data, and a rise in tariff. EBITDA was up 21.1% YoY to Rs 1,061 crore and EBITDA margin ramped up 46.9% in Q1FY26 vs. 45.8% in Q1FY25. Net Profit decreased 23.4% YoY to Rs 392 crore in Q1FY26, impacted by higher tax expenses. Mobile Average revenue per user (ARPU) increased to Rs 246 in Q1FY26 vs. Rs 242 in Q4FY25, Rs 241 in Q3FY25 and Rs 204 in Q4FY24.

Defense Acquisition Council approves Rs 67,000 crore worth acquisition proposals

The Defence Acquisition Council (DAC) cleared a series of capital acquisition proposals totaling approximately Rs 67,000 crore to strengthen the operational readiness of the Indian Armed Forces. For the Indian Army, the DAC granted Acceptance of Necessity (AoN) for the procurement of Thermal Imager-based Driver Night Sights for BMP vehicles.

Updater Services profit up by 12.7%

Operational performance was below expectations in the quarter. Revenue for the quarter grew 7.4% YoY at Rs 700.2cr as against estimate of Rs 734cr. Operating margin contracted 65bps YoY at 5.62% as against expectation of 6.1%. Net profit was up 12.7% YoY at Rs 28.6cr. PBT for the quarter declined 4.4% YoY at Rs 31.1cr. Other Income declined 22% YoY at Rs 5.1cr. EPS for the quarter stood at Rs 4.33 and it was at Rs 17.7 for FY25. At CMP, the stock trades at 13.5x FY27E EPS.

Bharti Airtel posts Rs 7,422 crore in June quarter

Bharti Airtel’s numbers were above expectations in Q1FY26, and the company maintained industry-leading growth. The company has strong business momentum led by leading operational indicators. Consolidated revenue grew by 28.5% YoY to Rs 49,463 crore in Q1FY26, driven by rapidly increasing demand for data, rise in tariff prices, premiumisation and CPaaS (Communication Platform as a Service). EBITDA was up 41.2% YoY to Rs 28,348 crore and EBITDA margin ramped up 520 bps YoY to 57.3% in Q1FY26. Net Profit stood at Rs 7,422 crore in Q1FY26 vs. Rs 4,718 crore in Q1FY25 and PAT margin stood at 15.1% in Q1FY26. As of June 30, 2025, overall customer base at ~605 mn across 15 countries. Average revenue per user (ARPU) continued to be best in industry as Q1FY26, on QoQ basis, stood at Rs 250 in Q1FY26 vs. Rs 245 in Q4FY25.

Castrol India profit up by 5.1% in June quarter

Castrol India Ltd revenue was above expectations, supported by new launches, expanded distribution network, and net profit was inline with estimates in Q2CY25. Net Sales grew 7.1% YoY to Rs 1,497 crore in Q2CY25, and reported 5.3% QoQ growth, EBITDA surged to Rs 350 crore in Q2CY25 vs. Rs 307 crore in Q2CY24 and it stood at Rs 322 crore in Q1CY25. EBITDA margin stood at 23.4% in Q2CY25 vs. 23.1% in Q2CY24 and 21.6% in Q1CY25. Net Profit rose 5.1% YoY to Rs 244 crore in Q2CY25, vs. Rs 232 crore in Q2CY24 and Rs 233 crore in Q1CY25.

Prestige Estates’ profit in June quarter up by 26%

Prestige Estates reported a 26% YoY rise in Q1 net profit at Rs 292.5 crore, driven by strong housing demand. Finance cost increased 11% YoY at Rs 384 crore. Other Income stood flat YoY at Rs 161.4 crore. Total income grew to Rs 2,307 crore from Rs 1,862 crore, a year ago.

CCI approves Dalmia Bharat’s acquisition of Jaiprakash Associates

India’s antitrust regulator, Competition Commission of India (CCI) approved Dalmia Bharat’s proposal to fully acquire Jaiprakash Associates Ltd (JAL), which is undergoing insolvency proceeding.

Indo Tech Farmers gets Rs 62.93 crore project

The company has received a letter of award worth Rs 62.93 crore for supply of 6 Nos of 175, 220/33-33kV MVA transformers. It is to be executed in the next 12 months.

NCC’s profit down by 5.3% in June quarter

Standalone revenue stood at Rs 4,378 crore declining by 7.1% YoY. EBITDA was down by 10.2% YoY to Rs 394.9 crore from Rs. 439.6 crore and EBITDA margin stood at 9% in Q1FY26 vs. 9.3% in Q1FY25. Net profit stood at Rs 190.1 crore in Q1FY26 vs. Rs 200.7 crore in Q1FY25 (-5.3% YoY).

Tega Industries’ June quarter profit down by 3.8%

Consolidated revenue stood at Rs 356.9 crore growing by 4.7% YoY. EBITDA was down by 13.4% YoY to Rs 55.6 crore and EBITDA margin stood at 15.6% in Q1FY26 vs. 18.9% in Q1FY25. Net profit stood at Rs 35.3 crore in Q1FY26 vs. Rs 36.7 crore in Q1FY25 (-3.8% YoY).

Anup Engineering profit up by 9.3% in June quarter

Consolidated net revenue was up by 20% YoY to Rs 175.2 crore in Q1FY26. EBITDA was up 22.2% YoY to Rs.40.3 crore in Q1FY26 and EBITDA margin was 23% in Q1FY26 vs. 22.6% in Q1FY25. Net Profit was up by 9.3% YoY at Rs 26.3 crore in Q1FY26 vs. Rs 24 crore in Q1FY25.

WPIL profit down by 42.1% in June quarter

Net profit of WPIL declined 42.1% to Rs 22.39 crore in the quarter ended June 2025 as against Rs 38.70 crore during the previous quarter ended June 2024. Sales grew 4.4% to Rs 378.6 crore in the quarter ended June 2025 as against Rs 362.5 crore during the previous quarter ended June 2024.

HG Infra gets new contract

Company has received Letter of Award (LOA) for creation of Integrated Material Handling facility at the Navel Dockyard in Mumbai (ND (MBI) by Military Engineer Services (MES) in the state of Maharashtra.

EIH profit down by 63.1% in June quarter

EIH Ltd reported a 63.1% YoY drop in net profit at Rs 33.9 crore for the first quarter that ended June 30, 2025. In the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, EIH posted a net profit of Rs 92.1 crore. It was due to exceptional loss of Rs 110.5 crore in Q1FY26. Revenue from operations increased 9% to Rs 573.5 crore against Rs 526.5 crore last year.

Britannia’s profit up by 3% in June quarter

Britannia reported a 3% YoY increase in net profit at Rs 520.7 crore for the first quarter that ended on June 30, 2025. Revenue from operations topped expectations, climbing 8.8% to Rs 4,622 crore against Rs 4,250.6 crore year-on-year.

Zinka Logistics’ June quarter profit up by 25%

Zinka Logistics reported a 25% rise in its Q1 consolidated net profit at Rs 35 crore versus Rs. 28 crore in the year ago period. Revenue from operations stood at Rs 141 crore, up 55% from Rs 91 crore reported in the corresponding quarter of FY25. Its margin increased to 29% from 9% in Q1FY25.

Avalon Technologies posts Rs 14.2 crore profit in June quarter

Revenue grew 62.1% YoY to Rs 323.30 crore. EBITDA was at Rs 30 crore vs. Rs 4.30 crore. Net Profit came in at Rs 14.2 crore vs. a net loss of Rs 2.30 crore. Company has order book of Rs 1790 crore as of June-2025.

Gland Pharma’s profit increased by 50% in June quarter

Overall performance was in line with expectations in the quarter. Revenue for the quarter grew 7.4% YoY at Rs 1505.6cr as against estimate of Rs 1493cr. Operating margin expanded 550bps YoY at 24.4% as against expectation of 25%. Gross margin improved 560bps YoY at 65.3%. Net profit increased 50% YoY at Rs 215.5cr. PBT for the quarter was up 43% YoY at Rs 312.7cr. US sales declined 2% YoY at Rs 744cr. Europe business reported 29% YoY increase at Rs 330cr. RoW sales grew 5% YoY at Rs 298cr. Net cash stood at Rs 2301 crore as of June-2025. EPS for the quarter stood at Rs 13.08 and it was at Rs 42.4 for FY25. At CMP, the stock trades at 28.5x FY27E EPS.

Transpek Industry’s profit up by 68% in June quarter

Overall performance was strong in the quarter. Revenue for the quarter grew 1.5% YoY at Rs 154.2cr. Operating margin expanded 500bps YoY at 15.6%. Net profit increased 68% YoY at Rs 15.6cr. Other Income was up 6.4% YoY at Rs 11.7cr. EPS for the quarter stood at Rs 27.9 and it was at Rs 87.25 for FY25. At CMP, the stock trades at 15x FY26E EPS.

Gujarat Fluorochemicals’ profit up by 70.4% in June quarter

Overall performance was in line with expectations in the quarter. Revenue for the quarter grew 8.9% YoY at Rs 1281cr as against estimate of Rs 1299cr. Operating margin improved 460bps YoY at 26.85% as against expectation of 25.5%. Net profit was up 70.4% YoY at Rs 184cr. Other Income surged 155% YoY at Rs 23cr. EPS for the quarter stood at Rs 16.75 and it was at Rs 49.7 for FY25. At CMP, the stock trades at 39x FY27E EPS.

Transrail Lighting profit up by 104.4% in June quarter

Revenue for the quarter increased 81.2% YoY at Rs 1660cr. Operating margin contracted 110bps YoY at 12%. Net profit surged 104.4% YoY at Rs 105.8cr. EPS for the quarter stood at Rs 7.83 and it was at Rs 25.56 for FY25. At CMP, the stock trades at 23.5x FY26E EPS.

Ellenbarie Gas profit up by 15.4% in June quarter

Revenue for the quarter grew 24.2% YoY at Rs 83.6cr. Operating margin expanded 410bps YoY at 36.7%. Net profit was up 15.4% YoY at Rs 18.7cr. PBT for the quarter increased 32% at Rs 27.8cr. Other Income was down 14% YoY at Rs 6.83cr. EPS for the quarter stood at Rs 1.42 and it was at Rs 6.4 for FY25.

Eris Life Sciences’ profit up by 41.7% in June quarter

Overall performance was in line with expectations in the quarter. Revenue for the quarter grew 7.4% YoY at Rs 773cr as against estimate of Rs 790cr. Operating margin improved 105bps YoY at 35.8% as against expectation of 36%. Net profit was up 41.7% YoY at Rs 118cr. Finance cost declined 20% YoY at Rs 48.7cr. Net debt stood at Rs 2317 crore as of June-2025. It is likely to be around Rs 1800 crore by March-2026. EPS for the quarter stood at Rs 8.64 and it was at Rs 25.8 for FY25. At CMP, the stock trades at 38x FY27E EPS.
