Mumbai, September 23: The wait for the National Stock Exchange’s market debut is almost over. The NSE Listing Date has been fixed for September 24, Thursday, after the exchange’s ₹22,562-crore IPO concluded its three-day subscription period.
The IPO, which was open from September 17 to September 21, received a strong response from investors. It was subscribed 5.71 times overall, with bids coming in for 50,58,11,384 shares against 8,86,42,911 shares on offer, according to BSE data.
The issue was entirely an Offer for Sale (OFS) of up to 12.64 crore equity shares. The price band was set at ₹1,700 to ₹1,785 per share, with the final issue price fixed at ₹1,785.
NSE IPO Subscription Details
Institutional investors accounted for a large part of the demand. The Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIB) portion was subscribed 12.68 times, while the Non-Institutional Investors (NII) category received 6.55 times subscription.
The retail portion was subscribed 1.39 times.

Overall, investors placed bids worth nearly ₹90,300 crore, compared with the IPO size of around ₹22,562 crore.
NSE Share Price and IPO Details
The IPONSE was priced at ₹1,785 per share at the upper end of its price band. With a lot size of eight shares, the minimum investment for retail investors came to ₹14,280.
The NSE share price after listing will depend on actual trading in the market and may be different from the IPO price or any grey market indication.

NSE IPO Allotment and Listing Timeline
The NSE IPO allotment was finalised on September 22. Refunds are scheduled for September 23, while shares are expected to be credited to successful applicants on the same day.
After that, NSE shares are scheduled to make their market debut on September 24, 2026.
NSE IPO Anchor Investors
Ahead of the public issue, NSE raised around ₹6,746 crore from anchor investors.
The anchor book included institutional investors such as LIC, Goldman Sachs and Fidelity. Sovereign wealth funds including GIC Singapore, Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) and Norges Bank also participated, along with Eastspring and HSBC Global Asset Management.
