Mumbai, July 21: Petrol and diesel prices today remained largely unchanged across major Indian cities, with fuel rates holding steady in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai. Petrol price in Delhi stood at ₹102.12 per litre, while Mumbai and Kolkata recorded rates of ₹111.21 and ₹113.51, respectively. Diesel price in Delhi remained at ₹95.20 per litre, with Mumbai and Kolkata at ₹97.83 and ₹99.82, respectively. However, select cities saw notable day-on-day movements, with Bhubaneswar recording the sharpest increases in both petrol and diesel prices, while Bengaluru and Jaipur witnessed declines. Petrol Prices

Petrol prices remained unchanged in most major Indian cities and state capitals on Tuesday. In New Delhi, petrol was priced at ₹102.12 per litre, while consumers in Mumbai paid ₹111.21 and those in Kolkata ₹113.51. In Chennai, the price stood at ₹107.76 per litre.
Among other major cities, petrol was available at ₹102.97 per litre in Gurgaon and ₹101.96 in Noida. Bangalore saw a decline of ₹0.86, taking the price to ₹110.82 per litre, while Hyderabad remained among the costliest markets at ₹115.69 per litre. Chandigarh recorded a price of ₹101.54 per litre.
Prices also remained steady in Thiruvananthapuram at ₹115.49 per litre. However, Bhubaneswar witnessed the sharpest increase among the listed cities, with petrol becoming ₹1.52 costlier at ₹110.49 per litre. Jaipur saw a decline of ₹0.53 to ₹112.66, while Lucknow’s price fell marginally by ₹0.03 to ₹101.86.
Petrol prices in Patna rose ₹0.16 to ₹113.53 per litre. Overall, rates were largely stable across the country’s major metropolitan centres, with only select cities recording notable day-on-day movements.

Diesel Prices
Diesel prices remained unchanged in most major Indian cities and state capitals. In New Delhi, diesel was priced at ₹95.20 per litre, while rates stood at ₹99.82 in Kolkata, ₹97.83 in Mumbai and ₹99.55 in Chennai.

Among other key cities, diesel was available at ₹95.64 per litre in Gurgaon and ₹95.44 in Noida. Bangalore recorded a decline of ₹0.79, bringing the price to ₹98.77 per litre. Chandigarh continued to have one of the lowest prices at ₹89.47 per litre, while Hyderabad saw diesel priced at ₹103.82.
Bhubaneswar recorded the sharpest increase among the listed cities, with diesel prices rising ₹1.47 to ₹102.15 per litre. Jaipur saw a decline of ₹0.47 to ₹97.78, while prices remained unchanged in Lucknow at ₹95.36 and Thiruvananthapuram at ₹104.40 per litre.
In Patna, diesel prices increased marginally by ₹0.18 to ₹99.54 per litre. Overall, diesel rates remained largely stable across India’s major cities, with only a handful of markets witnessing notable day-on-day changes.
