Sawaliya Foods Products lists at 90% premium
Mumbai, 14 August 2025: Shares of Sawaliya Foods Products Limited made a strong debut on the NSE SME platform on Thursday, listing at ₹228, a 90% premium over the IPO price of ₹120. The stock opened sharply higher by ₹108, reflecting strong investor interest at the time of listing.
Profit Booking Pulls Shares Slightly Lower to ₹216.60
Minutes after the market open, the stock witnessed some profit taking, bringing the price down to the lower price band of ₹216.60. At 12:21 PM IST, the shares were trading at ₹222, slightly off the opening, with a 52-week high of ₹239.40 and a low of ₹216.60, reflecting active trading volumes of 17.51 lakh shares and a traded value of ₹39.83 crore.
Sawaliya Foods Products IPO received 13 times subscription applications
The Sawaliya Foods Products IPO, which opened from 7 to 11 August 2025, was subscribed 13.32 times across all investor categories.
The retail investor portion received 8.92 times subscription, the non-institutional investor (NII) quota was subscribed 20.11 times, and the qualified institutional buyer (QIB) segment received 15.83 times bids.
The issue comprised a fresh share sale of ₹31.23 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of ₹3.60 crore, bringing the total to ₹34.83 crore.
Funds to Support Machinery Upgradation, Solar Projects and Working Capital
Proceeds from the fresh issue will primarily fund capital expenditure, including purchase and upgradation of machinery and installation of a 149.04 kWp on-grid rooftop solar PV system at the company’s manufacturing facility. Additional funds are allocated for working capital requirements, repayment of borrowings, and general corporate purposes.
Established in July 2014, Sawaliya Foods Products Limited in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh, processes 1,500 MT of dehydrated vegetables like carrots, cabbage, and string beans, supplying domestic and international packaged food companies, including the US, for products like noodles, pasta, soups, and ready-to-eat meals.
