Mumbai, Sept 22: Here are five stocks in focus on Tuesday, from a 2 GW solar order for Waaree Energies to a fundraising plan for Reliable Data Services to a shipyard outlay for Garden Reach Shipbuilders to maiden results for Lumino Industries to a battery order for Pace Digitek. Here’s what’s driving each stock and what to track through the session.
Waaree Energies (WAAREEENER): Bags 2 GW solar module order from leading developer
Waaree Energies Ltd (WAAREEENER) has received a one-time domestic order for 2 GW of solar modules from a renowned customer described as a leading solar developer, with shipments scheduled across FY27 and FY28. The order adds to a consolidated outstanding order book of around Rs 61,500 crore as of June 30, even as the stock ended 1.35 per cent lower at Rs 2,501 on Monday against a previous close of Rs 2,535.10. Waaree’s module manufacturing capacity stood at around 25.8 GW as of early September, with FY26 consolidated operational revenue at a record Rs 26,536.77 crore.
Reliable Data Services (RELIABLE): Board approves Rs 200-crore fundraising plan
Reliable Data Services Ltd’s (RELIABLE) board has approved a proposal to raise up to Rs 200 crore through a preferential issue, QIP or rights issue, for upcoming projects, expansion and working capital needs. The approval, taken on September 21, sets the overall ceiling and possible routes but does not lock in the final structure, which will require shareholder approval via postal ballot. The company posted a 46 per cent year-on-year rise in Q1 FY27 consolidated revenue to Rs 57.6 crore, with net profit at Rs 2.39 crore.
Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers (GRSE): Approves Rs 2,896-crore Raichak shipyard outlay
Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Ltd’s (GRSE) board has approved a capital budgetary outlay of Rs 2,896 crore for a greenfield shipyard at Raichak, West Bengal, to enhance shipbuilding capacity across naval and commercial segments. The approval, cleared at the board’s 423rd meeting on September 21, marks an upward revision from the Rs 2,500 crore estimate outlined on August 24, and is part of a wider expansion programme that also includes brownfield upgrades at Shalimar and Kidderpore. GRSE shares slipped 1.67 per cent to Rs 2,372.80 on Monday against a previous close of Rs 2,413.
Lumino Industries (LUMINOIND): Q1 profit rises 32.4 per cent in maiden results as listed company
Lumino Industries Ltd (LUMINOIND) reported its first quarterly results since listing on September 3, with consolidated net profit rising 32.4 per cent year-on-year to Rs 40.2 crore from Rs 30.3 crore, while consolidated revenue grew 19.3 per cent to Rs 521.4 crore from Rs 437.1 crore. The company, which completed a Rs 700-crore IPO before listing with a 32.93 per cent gain over its issue price, also announced a phased Ranihati facility expansion to raise conductor and cable capacity to 75,000 MT. Growth was led by the EPC segment, which more than doubled its contribution over the year-ago quarter.
Pace Digitek (PACEDIGITEK): Arm bags Rs 488.46-cr battery energy storage system order from NTPC GE Power
Pace Digitek Ltd’s (PACEDIGITEK) material subsidiary, Lineage Power, has received a Letter of Award worth Rs 488.46 crore, inclusive of taxes, from NTPC GE Power Services for supply, testing and commissioning of 5.015 MWh BESS containers at the Barh Super Thermal Power Station, along with a 12-year maintenance contract. The order is to be completed by December 31, and adds to Lineage Power’s portfolio as the company scales manufacturing capacity toward 10 GWh by FY27. Neither Pace Digitek’s promoters nor its promoter group have any interest in NTPC GE Power Services, the company said.
Broader Read
Tuesday’s triggers span a 2 GW solar order for Waaree Energies, a Rs 200-crore fundraising plan for Reliable Data Services, a Rs 2,896-crore shipyard outlay for Garden Reach Shipbuilders, strong maiden results for Lumino Industries, and a Rs 488.46-crore battery order for Pace Digitek, a mix of order wins, capital raises and results for investors to track through the session. Indian equity benchmarks had ended Monday’s session sharply higher, snapping six consecutive weeks of declines, with the Sensex gaining 0.76 per cent to close at 74,858.99, while the Nifty rose 0.29 per cent to 23,414.30. Gift Nifty futures were last trading around 23,492, pointing to a firmer opening on Tuesday even as the Houthis’ push into Yemen’s highlands and a New York Times report on Trump calling off planned US strikes kept the broader Middle East conflict, and crude prices, in focus.
