Hyderabad, October 14, 2025: Shares of Surana Solar Ltd (BSE: 533298, NSE: SURANASOL) climbed 4.6% to ₹33.20 as of 11:58 a.m. IST on Tuesday after the company announced its inclusion in the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), along with BIS certification for its latest range of solar PV modules.

Founded in 2006, Surana Solar Limited is part of the Surana Group, engaged in the manufacturing of solar PV modules and renewable energy systems. The company’s shares are listed on both BSE and NSE, under the Heavy Electrical Equipment category.

Certification Milestone

In a corporate filing, the Hyderabad-based solar equipment manufacturer confirmed that it has received ALMM approval and Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification for its TOPCON 630 Wp and PERC 590 Wp module families. These certifications make the products eligible for participation in government EPC power projects, tenders, and other PSU-led solar initiatives, a major advantage in India’s rapidly growing renewable energy sector.

“With these approvals in place, our products are now eligible for participation in various Government EPC power projects, tenders, and other PSU-related initiatives,” said Narender Surana, Director, in the official communication.

Surana Solar Share Price Update

By 3:26 PM, Surana Solar Ltd shares were trading at ₹32.05, up 0.98%. Surana Solar Ltd shares have dipped 43% in the last year, 32% in the year-to-date, and down 5.65% in the last month. Shares of Surana Solar Ltd traded between ₹31.66 and ₹34.51 during the session, after opening at ₹31.80. The company currently holds a market capitalization of ₹157.71 crore.

The stock has a 52-week high of ₹60.80 and a 52-week low of ₹27.02, showing moderate movement over the past year. Surana Solar does not currently have a price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio or dividend yield listed.
