Mumbai, May 23, 2025 – Tata Consumer Products Ltd (NSE: TATACONSUM, BSE: 500800) has released its Business Responsibility and Sustainability Report (BRSR) for the financial year 2024–25, underscoring its steadfast commitment to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles. In alignment with SEBI’s Regulation 34(2)(f), the report presents a detailed and transparent account of the company’s sustainability performance, supported by “reasonable assurance” from BSI Group India Pvt. Ltd. for core ESG Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Significant milestones include achieving zero waste to landfill across all Indian beverage manufacturing sites and reaching 97% renewable energy usage at the company’s Eaglescliffe facility in the United Kingdom—primarily through solar and biomass sources.

The FY25 BRSR covers 155 global locations, including over 135 in India. Tata Consumer serves more than 275 million Indian households and maintains a direct retail network of 2 million outlets. Key material issues addressed in the report include product stewardship, nutrition access, water security, and consumer interaction.
Engagements extend across a broad stakeholder base including consumers, communities, regulatory bodies, investors, and supply chain partners ensuring inclusive and responsive governance.
Independent Assurance by BSI Group
The disclosures were independently reviewed by BSI Group India, which validated the company’s reporting on GHG emissions, energy and water use, circular economy efforts, diversity, and stakeholder practices. In its statement dated May 8, 2025, BSI affirmed that Tata Consumer’s sustainability data is “fairly presented in all material respects.”
The assurance process followed globally accepted standards, including ISO 14064-1:2018 and the GHG Protocol, covering both Scope 1 & 2 and relevant Scope 3 emissions (packaging waste, logistics, and employee travel). Facility-specific environmental metrics were verified across geographies.

- Increase its renewable power mix to 35% by FY26
