Tuesday, December 02, 2025: The shares of Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles are expected to be in focus on Tuesday’s trading session. This is after the company’s remarkable sales performance in November 2025. There was a 26% year on year growth recorded in the total sales of passenger vehicles as the company sold 59199 units. In October 2025, the sales figure was 47117. The fact that the company has been able to carry on the festive momentum in November is quite significant.

Monthly Sales Update

As per the company’s official communication, domestic PV sales increased considerably (22%) and reached 57436 units. The export business which was quite subdued for the past couple of quarters, made a critical comeback and 1763 units were exported (compared to 54 units in November 2024), implying a huge jump in export sales and becoming a meaningful part of the total sales figures.

TMPV Leads the EV Sector

The company continued to be a leader in the country’s growing EV segment. The company during November 2025, recorded 7911 EV unit sales, representing a 52% year-on-year jump, and demonstrated its supreme position in the EV passenger vehicles segment in India.

Key Factors: Product Portfolio and Market Trends

The two key factors for the growth momentum achieved by the company in November 2025 include the diversified and deep portfolio that consists of compact and mid-size SUVs along with compact hatchbacks (such as Tata Punch). The company has been constantly scaling the EVs and has improved the quality and performance of the conventional ICE engines.

In addition, the automobile sector (passenger vehicles) witnessed a critical 19% increase overall, which further aided to the growth.

Stock Price Performance

The share of Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles traded at ₹360.30 (down by 0.96% from the previous day’s closing) at 10:00 AM on Tuesday. The stock opened at ₹364 and nosedived after the opening bell. In the past one month, the stock has plummeted more than 13.60%. The company’s P/E ratio is 1.42 compared to the market average of 27.02. The total volume so far has been close to 30.52 lakh shares, dominated by sellers.

As the sales figures for November 2025 were quite robust, it will be interesting to witness how the performance of the market (domestic and exports) would impact the total sales of the company. With the launch of New Tata Sierra, the company has been able to regenerate a buzz around its legendary SUV lineup.
