Titagarh gets LoI for Rs 467.3 crore project

Titagarh Rail Systems Ltd. received a letter of intent from Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Ltd. for an order worth Rs 467.3 crore. The order was for the construction of two vessels. The vessel will be used by the Geological Survey of India for coastal exploration.

Wipro to acquire 100% stake in DTS unit of HARMAN for $375 million

Wipro has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire 100 per cent stake in in the Digital Transformation Solutions (DTS) business unit of HARMAN for a cash consideration of up to US$ 375 million or Rs 3,270 crore. DTS is a global provider of ER&D and IT services. It had reported revenue of US$ 314.5 million in CY24.

Goldiam raises Rs 202 crore through QIP

 The company raised Rs 202 crore via QIP to fast-track growth plans. It targets to open 70‐90 ORIGEM stores in 18-24 months.

TVS Motor Company launches new electric three-wheeler

TVS Motor Company has launched a new electric three-wheeler, King Kargo HD, for cargo. It has a 156 km range and costs Rs 3.85 lakh. A CNG version is also planned. The company will first launch in Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, Gujarat and Maharashtra. TVS expects EVs to dominate 60% of the three-wheeler market by 2030.

Tata Motors to re-enter passenger vehicle market of South Africa

Tata Motors is re-entering South Africa’s passenger vehicle market after a six-year hiatus, introducing a range of SUVs and a hatchback to compete with Chinese automakers. The company aims to capture a significant market share by offering budget-friendly options. Tata plans to expand its dealership network and introduce additional models in the future, partnering with Motus Holdings for distribution.

Va Tech WABAG gets new order of Rs 46.50 crore

Company has secured an order from RenewSys India (RenewSys) to deliver comprehensive water management solutions for its 2 GW solar cell manufacturing facility in Hyderabad, Telangana. This order, worth Rs 46.50 crore is strategically significant for WABAG as it marks a strong foothold in the solar manufacturing sector, reinforcing its capabilities across UPW, ETP, and ZLD segments.

Bondada Engineering incorporates new subsidiary

 Bondada Engineering has incorporated a subsidiary under the name Bondada Dynamics. The newly incorporated subsidiary will serve as a dedicated vehicle for the Company’s entry into the defence sector, an area of immense strategic relevance and opportunity.

Transrail gets new order of Rs 837 crore

Transrail Lighting Limited has secured a significant domestic Transmission Line EPC order and an International product supply order totalling to Rs 837 crore. These win propels the company’s FY26 cumulative order inflows to over Rs 3,157 crore, marking a 57% YoY growth.

Piramal Pharma, NewAmsterdam announce opening of oral solid dosage facility

Piramal Pharma Solutions and NewAmsterdam Pharma Company N.V. announced the opening of a dedicated oral solid dosage (OSD) form suite at Piramal’s facility in Sellersville, Pennsylvania, USA. As one of Piramal Pharma Solutions’ focused drug product facilities, the Sellersville site provides comprehensive development and manufacturing services for various formulations, including several forms of OSDs. The suite represents a multi-million-dollar investment in equipment upgrades and enhancements to improve the site’s capabilities. This suite will facilitate the production of NewAmsterdam Pharma’s investigational FDC, a nonstatin cholesterol medication to reduce LDL-C.

JSW Steel subsidiary declared successful bidder for coal block in Chattisgarh

 JSW Steel Limited’s wholly owned subsidiary Mivaan Steels Limited is declared a successful bidder for the Rajgamar Dipside Coal Block in Chattisgarh following an auction held on July 30,2025.

HAL confirms receiving Rs 62,000 crore order from government

 Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd confirmed Centre’s approval of 97 LCA Mk-1A fighter jets worth Rs 62,000 crore. Cabinet Committee of Security has approved the proposal for procurement of 97 Light Combat Aircraft Mk-1A along with associated equipment by the ministry of defence, for Indian Air Force from the Company.

PTC Industries gets new order of Rs 110 crore

The Company has successfully bagged an order worth Rs 110 crore from BrahMos Aerospace for the supply of critical titanium castings.

Hikal receives warning letter from USFDA

 The company has received a Warning Letter from the US FDA for its manufacturing facility in Jigani, Bengaluru. Company remains committed to work closely with the US FDA to resolve the issues at the earliest.

Concord gets GMP approval from EU GMP

The company announced that the European Union Good Manufacturing Practice (EU GMP) authorities have conducted their first inspection of its Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) manufacturing facility at Limbassi. The inspection was carried out from August 18, 2025 to August 21, 2025. The approval will enable Concord to explore commercial opportunities across various EU territories and other regulated geographies, strengthening global presence and growth trajectory.

Texmaco gets new order of Rs 103.2 crore

Texmaco Rail & Engineering Ltd has won an order worth Rs 103.2 crore from Leap Grain Rail Logistics to deliver BCBFG wagons along with BVCM brake vans. The domestic order has to be executed within 10 months.
