U.S. equities ended the final session of September mixed as late buying in mega‑cap tech offset weakness in broader markets. The Nasdaq closed higher, while the S&P 500 and Dow slipped. August PCE eased to 3.4% YoY and core PCE to 3.0%, below expectations, while Q2 GDP was revised up to 2.2%, providing some relief though rising long‑dated Treasury yields (10‑yr near 5.29%) kept valuations under pressure.

In India, the rupee strengthened to 95.83 and Nifty fell 95 points to 22,620, marking a third straight decline. Immediate resistance sits at 22,810 and 23,000-23,100, while a break below 22,569 could push the index toward 22,200.
