U.S. equities ended slightly lower for a second straight session as surging long‑duration Treasury yields continued to pressure valuations. The 10‑year hit ~5.25% and the 30‑year climbed above 5.6%, their highest levels since 2007-2002, keeping growth and AI stocks volatile after concerns around an Anthropic IPO leak and OpenAI model delays. Brent eased to $96/bbl as Saudi exports through the Red Sea recovered, though elevated energy prices sustained stagflation worries. Consumer confidence dropped sharply, underscoring household caution ahead of today’s PCE print.

In India, the rupee stabilized after briefly breaching 96.00, supported by RBI action and index‑rebalancing inflows. Nifty fell 64 points to 22,685, its weakest close since March, though a late rebound trimmed losses. Support: 22,500-22,600; resistance: 23,000-23,100.
