ACC Ltd Q2 FY26 Profit Soars 87% YoY to ₹1,119 Crore; Stock Gains

Ahmedabad, October 31, 2025: ACC Limited share price (NSE: ACC | BSE: 500410) surged more than 1% after the company announced an exceptional performance for the second quarter ended September 30, 2025. The consolidated net profit surged 460.5% year-on-year (YoY) at ₹1,119.26 crore, against ₹199.70 crore in the same period a year ago. The remarkable growth was driven by robust cement demand, improved price realisations, and a one-time tax adjustment benefit, highlighting ACC’s operational strength, efficiency, and cost optimisation strategy.
ACC Limited, a subsidiary of the Adani Group, is one of India’s leading cement and building materials companies with its headquarters in Ahmedabad. A pan-India operation with an extensive network of cement plants and RMC facilities across the country, ACC plays a vital role in India’s infrastructure development.
Financial Performance
In Q2 FY26, ACC reported revenue from operations of ₹5,896.16 crore, up 29.8% YoY on the back of steady demand recovery in key markets, along with improved realizations. Total income increased 28.4% YoY to ₹6,155.35 crore, while total expenses increased only moderately by 20.6% to ₹5,393.42 crore, reflecting improved cost efficiency, especially in logistics and energy usage.
Profit before tax stood at ₹763.17 crore, marking a 168.7% year-on-year increase, while net profit surged over fourfold to ₹1,119.26 crore, driven by a favourable tax adjustment of ₹671.41 crore during the quarter. Basic earnings per share (EPS) soared to ₹59.60 from ₹10.63 a year earlier, underscoring the company’s robust profitability and improved margins.
Operational Highlights
ACC’s operational efficiency continued to improve on the back of optimized fuel sourcing, better capacity utilization, and digital transformation initiatives across plants. Though revenue sequentially declined marginally, the company sustained a strong margin profile and reflected disciplined cost management.

At 2:33 PM IST, shares of ACC Ltd were trading 1.34% higher at ₹1,884.40, gaining ₹25.00 from the previous close. The company’s market capitalisation stood at ₹35,651.41 crore, with a 52-week high of ₹2,378.40 and a low of ₹1,778.45. Its adjusted P/E ratio was 14.98, reflecting strong valuation support. ACC continues to be a solid mid-cap performer and remains part of the NIFTY Midcap 150 index, signalling investor confidence in its long-term growth trajectory.
