Amir Chand Jagdish Kumar Q1 Pat Jumps Twofold to Rs 36.63 Cr

Mumbai: Rice millers and exporters Amir Chand Jagdish Kumar on Tuesday reported a more than twofold jump in profit after tax to Rs 36.63 crore in the quarter ended June.
The company’s PAT was Rs 16.10 crore during the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year, Amir Chand Jagdish Kumar (Exports) said in a regulatory filing.
Its revenue from operations increased by 55.1 per cent to Rs 663.73 crore in the quarter under review from Rs 427.95 crore in the year-ago period.
As demand for premium Indian rice continued to grow across global markets, the company said it remains committed to strengthening its export business while expanding its portfolio of branded food products.
Amir Chand Jagdish Kumar exports to over 37 countries.
