Annu Projects IPO: What Investors Should Know

The opening-day numbers show that investor participation is still building up. With the IPO having three more days of bidding after Day 1, the subscription figures can change considerably as more bids come in, particularly from institutional and non-institutional investors.

For now, the 0.34x overall subscription indicates that the issue has not yet received enough bids to cover the shares offered. Retail participation at 0.28x also remains below full subscription, while the QIB and NII categories have seen relatively stronger demand.

Investors should track the subscription numbers through the remaining bidding days rather than judging the issue solely on its Day 1 performance.

Conclusion

The Annu Projects IPO started on a cautious note, with the issue subscribed 0.34 times on Day 1. QIBs led the subscription numbers at 0.57 times, followed by NIIs at 0.36 times, while the retail portion stood at 0.28 times.

The IPO remains open for subscription until August 28, 2026, so these figures are not final. Demand could pick up over the next few sessions as the issue moves towards its closing date.
